Im a little confused here about the advertised 3 offensive slots on these weapons:
"- Bow of the Wild: 87-107 Damage. +127 Power. 3 Offensive Slots: +10 Power, Critical Strike and Recovery. +53 Armor Penetration.
- Hatchets of the Wild: 52-64 Damage. +127 Power. 3 Offensive Slots: +10 Power, Critical Strike and Recovery. +53 Armor Penetration."
Does that mean that the bow and hatchets will have 3 enchantment slots? Or does that correspond to +10 power, +10 crit, and +10 recovery? And will this mean that lvl 60 gear will have more slots when the patch comes?

I think the "3 Offensive Slots" was meant for the Hawk and not the weapons.
Level 60 gear isn't getting any more slots with module 2.
the official word is the three slots in the description of these weapons is for the hawk. the news blog will be corrected. thanks everyone who pointed that out.
as for the hawk's slots, if they're all offensive or two offense, one defense, we're getting an official word on that.

Hey Dardove,
Sorry for the confusion this may have caused. The weapon comes equipped with one Offense Slot and comes with the Graycloak's Insignia Enchantment which Gives +10 Power, Critical Strike and Recovery.
The post has been updated to be more clear. Thanks for the heads up.

I have to say I am a bit disappointed. When I first saw the original post I thought it was a bit strange, then I remembered that in the AH you have the choice to search for gear with up to 3 enchantment slots. I was looking forward to the 3 slot weapons.:p

that may be for a future expansion... we'll just have to wait and see!

The way I read it is simple...
Each weapon has 3 slots already filled with enchantments. Just like the previous pack weapons that had one enchantment slot already filled.
Not that hard to decipher.

That would make them incredibly powerful weapons, for about 20 levels...

If that is the case they will need to quickly resolve their wording as it's false advertising.
I'll wait and see!!!!

What I'd really love to see is crafters being able to add additional slots to items. This would make crafting a lot more useful...
