PVP Sent GWF needs gear advice

Hi, I'm currently PVPing my way to 60 as a GWF, and I'm collecting gear as I go. I plan on focusing almost solely on PVP once I hit 60, with maybe a guild dungeon run here and there when I get bored.

So far I have 2 pieces of Imposing Scrapper, 2 pieces of Titan, and the Ancient Castle sword and knot. Now Im starting to look at rings, necks, belts, and weapon/armor enchants and am having some trouble in finding out what would be the best choice, specifically looking to stack regen. The AH is fairly useless as it only lists 400 items at a time, so I cant just sit and browse. And I havent been able to stalk any great PVP GWFs in PE and look at their gear.

So my questions are:

1. What do you recommend for belt, rings, neck (preferably with regen or +HP)? I know there are some decent blues out there, but I dont know the names and cant find them in the AH.

2. Will Plaguefire still proc tenes come Module 2, and how many tenes should I be using? Or what other weapon enchant should I look for -- Lifedrinker maybe?

3. For armor enchant, should I still go Soulforged and get a free revive, or what would be more beneficial?

4. Is there a better Sent spec for PVP than the LEEROY JENKINS build Ive been following thus far?

5. Any other general gear, enchant, or spec advise is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and input, and see you in Domination.
PS -- Happy Thanksgiving!!

    greater rings of health.
    frostpelt girdle.
some dps neck or (+hp one)
    2x vigil, 2x titan or 4x vigil, or 2xtitan 2x GG set.

pump all your stat points in CON + str/and or dex.

    Vorpal - weapon
soulforge or negatation in armor enchant

I wouldnt bother wasting time with tenebrous come module 2, stack power rank 8-9, and some crit. (should get enough arp from CON)
dump as much radiant (HP) in defensive slots.

make sure your regen is around 1200+

    Grats you just won PvP.

You can invest a tiny bit in Life steal (the neck with Deflection and Life steal is good), then go Greater Rings of health and Thickgristle's Belt.

For weapon enchants you can go fully defensive and get lifedrinker, but I don't like it since you are tanky enough. My choice would be something between Plaguefire or Bronzewood...or if I could get my hands on a perfect Feytouched.

Armor definitely Soulforged. Offensive slots go ArmPen and for defense slots I'd suggest giving a try to a mix of Radiants and Silvery.

I am here and I am loving it. I guess that you would be even better since you got the swords/knots.

    Enjoy facetank Sentinel!

P.S: I run IbS,Roar,Take down and SS/Weapon Master. Changing Roar if there are no CWs. But that's pretty obvious. Just take some time to practice sprint and get to know how to tank and kill all that you are able to kill, and learn your role. You either keep people busy, or you help team-mates nuke targets with additional stuns. Sent GWF is a very good asset in PvP.

grimah I used your CW guide when I made my wizard. I'll definitely stray towards all these suggestions. Lately Ive just been constantly rushing the enemy teams point, hoping that I'll draw enough guys away from mid so my team can outnumber them and cap it.

hidahayabusa, that looks like about where Ill be once I hit 60. Thanks to both of you for your input.

from what i tested on preview server Tenes benefit from debuffs so that means from negative resistance a senti GWF on debuffed target was procing for 2,5k dmg per tene

My GWF at 8.6k is more useful in PvP than my 15.3k GF. Sad fact.

I lost 1 v 1 to a sub 9k gwf as cw once, he did have daily but still that was just HAMSTER, and myself is a above average cw player.
In Mod 2 I don't even think I wanna play much GF unless in a coordinated premade, it really sucks for GF since there are another range class in the scene and GF getting virtually 0 buff since the new paragon path is just a big disappointment.

My advice is don't listen to everyone saying tene will be horrible post shadowmantle. GWF will be able to make great use of it still.

First of all, yes, plague fire will proc it. However, from what I am hearing they are also fixing plaguefire on shadowmantle release. Therefore, you have the potential to reduce other tank's damage resistance 45% using this. Presonally, I also plan on going with student of the sword, which is a potential 15-45% damage resistance debuff in addition to this. If this isn't enough, you should also get 14-15% arm pen from your CON stat if you rolled for max CON. And finally, even with all this, you should still be able to pull out an additional 133 arm pen on your neck slot, and an additional 300 arm pen with a fully maxed artifact, still leaving you room to slot both regen artifacts that will be available. This is regardless of the fact that people say certain debuffs may also increase tene damage.

The only things you should need to worry about are dodges and deflects affecting your tenes post shadowmantle. However, the only people you should have trouble taking down regardless are other tank gwfs/gfs, and they cannot dodge, so overall tenes still look like a good option to me. Idk why people get a doomsday attitude toward them just because they are getting a nerf...

I think a lot of those criers were taking advantage of the fact that tenes were able to hit even when their actual attack was dodged. I can't tell you how many times I get hit by those tene bursts even though the person never actually hit me. Tenes will still be viable for the super high hp tanks that just want to focus on survivability.

Either way its easy to go with a stunlock build now that we get frontline rush for prone. Also, since it has a CD of 19 seconds, it will be easy to time when your tenes will be able to activate again based off of this cooldown. If you need your tenes to activate, you could just lead with frontline rush as your first and not need to worry about them dodging since you could prone them at a distance with very small animation time. From there your tenes should unload on them between the other stuns/hits.

You think that you need Frontline surge in order to get a stunlock build? Roar works SO good.

Roar is much harder to aim and frontline surge will be the highest damaging gwf skill aside from dailies where roar's damage is too insignificant to consider. Also, frontline surge will give a longer prone time, giving you time to add things like threatening rush between moves for increased damage on the next hit. Plus, I like the idea of having its cooldown match up with my tene cooldown. This way, I can make sure my tenes are activating when I start my stunlock rotation, that way I do not need to worry about them being dodged and useless for the next 20 seconds.

I see. My only concern is the longer cooldown. Roar takes as much practice as Frontline to target, but yes...the prone time is bigger and there is no pushback. I guess another downside is the lack of Determination build up.

However Threatening rush is amazing. Looking forward for Thursday.
