Well, there are more experienced players than me out there my I give my advice nonetheless.

    Running the dungeon
We typically run with 3 CW, 1 DC and 1 GF, which means that everything dies before you have a chance to do anything. I slot
-Trample the fallen (Works well with the CW)
-Combat superiority (Never leaves my action bar)
-Lounging strike (To move quickly where I need to be)
-Enforced threat (To pull adds away from the squishies)
-Frontline surge / Into the fray (For AP gain)
-Cleave (Good for when the CW pulled the adds all together)
-Threatening rush (To mark targets and move quickly)
    -Fighter's recovery (You never know...)
-Supremacy of steel (Good way to deal damage if the CW's are slacking off)
In general, you just pull adds to places where the CW can punt them or murder them with singularity etc.

    Tanking the boss
Depending on the dungeon, it can be useful to put the GF on the boss to slowly wear him down while the squishies does crowd control. For that I slot
    -Trample the fallen
    -Combat superiority
-Knights challenge (Takes the boss down faster)
-Anvil of Doom (Combined with KC you can do crits of ~50k!)
-Into the fray (For AP gain, the squishies will love you)
    -Cleave
    -Threatening rush
-Fighter's recovery (Can be a lifesaver if the DC is too busy with the CW)
-Supremacy of steel (Let the boss hurt himself)

    Kiting the adds
If you do not tank the boss, you will typically have to kite the adds instead. Threat generation is key for this.
    -Enforced Mark (For threat)
    -Combat superiority
-Knights valor (Must have! You gain threat and the squishies survive. Win-win!)
-Enforced threat (Threat plus small AoE on the cloud of adds following you)
-Into the fray (For AP gain but also run speed bonus so you have time to use other skills)
    -Cleave
-Threatening rush (To catch stray adds that are going for your team mates)
-Villian's menace (Saves you from AoE attacks, and does some damage to the adds nearby too)
-Supremacy of steel (Nothing generates more threat than a bit of Supremacy!)

    PvP
I do not really do much PvP, but what I slot is
    -Trample the fallen
    -Combat superiority
-Lounging strike (Move fast to where you need to be)
-Bull charge (Push them out of bounds!)
-Frontline surge (Knockdown groups at cap points)
    -Cleave
    -Threatening rush
-Indomitable strength (People say it is good, I don't know...)
-Supremacy of steel (People that do not know GF tend to kill themselves with this active...)

I am looking forward to other player's take on this. :)

Do you use lounging strike from your couch? How comfortable do you have to be before that power really shines?

    Sorry, couldn't help myself. lol

    *snip

    Thanks for this.

I am currently a level 39 GF and well, I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING!!! So I am going to use your rotations as a guideline.
PSA: You don't need to grind Spinward Rise for your Elemental artifact main hand if you have some AD lying around. You can craft it via the Tyranny of Dragon's campaign screen.

Prety much this. But crushing is better than cleave in pvp. And fercious reaction over trample

Not if you don't run cookie cutter Conq and go Tactician.

Everybody loves Supermacy of Steel per 15seconds :)

Idk man. Tact is decent but losing that 1 second on surge hurts. Not to mention the power

If you need some help in game, let me know. I had a buddy building a GF and he got frustrated with it over all around the same level and gave up on it. I wanted a GF in our little circle of friends when we needed one, so I made my own and found it relatively easy to level (albeit a little slow at times), once I figured out what I was doing.

At least you can block freely without thinking that you actually gimped your build, plus with specced Trample and much much shorter daily usage, you won't notice a difference in damage.

Sorry for derailing the OP. ikeepit3hunna find me in game so we can theorycraft for hours (@hidahayabusa duh)

P.S: People will love you as a tactician on PvE, if you spec Into the Fray+Inspiring leader and boost their damage with most things you do. You know how hard people try to come up on top of charts....for some reason.

Hehe, English is not my first language, not even my second... But yeah, I have a leaned back relaxed style, at least until the boss fight!

How exactly do encounters look for GF in higher level dungeons? Do you blow your cooldowns and just guard until they come up or just cleave all the time guarding just the strongest enemy attacks?

    U know your stuff lol.
When I see a cleave GF I am like what a nuub. Same goes to people that slot Trample the Fallen, pure copycat, they don't even know that the feat basically doesn't work in PVP

This. Except add that if the attack can be avoided by walking away...walk away. I also tend to reserve frontline for times when a mob is going to use a powerful AOE(unless said mobs are CC immune).
