there is just no balance in pvp at 60... the gear difference is just to extreme, you can have the worst gwf take 5-8 full rotations of maxed dps and not even be close to death.
the pvp just becomes unbearablely broken at 60.
i quitted last time after getting 10k gs due to how rediculess pvp at 60 was and after a few matches again after my return and else enjoying the game i am gonna be gone again. this redicules utterly ptw pvp at max lvl is just HAMSTER and no fun, no matter if you got the ptw people or the enemy does.
edit:
when i say ptw gameplay its the gameplay where its just utterly imba and 1 person maxed will take out 4 without even being skilled only due to gear, and a ftp game this is 99.99% of the time done by simply throwing enough money at the game but the ability to get such a broken balance is whats the problem

In all but the most extreme cases, there isn't a gigantic performance gap between absolute best possible gear and enchants and what can be reasonably obtained through good old fashioned farming and guild support. Cash certainly makes it faster to gear up, but I know players who have spent minimally on the game outside of the occasional cosmetic purchase or promotional pack and do quite well.
Sometimes what you're observing is an arguable imbalance with a specific class and gear setup much more than it is the difference between ideal enchants and simply average ones.

while i havent done the math the difference is from killing a person same class in 2-5 rotations and to do 8 rotations and still not be half through his hp, if that isnt gear i wouldnt know what it is, there is no skills to my knowledge that allows you to absorb 3-4 times the dmg no matter the setup.
same dmg wise, from being able to soak up a good bounch of rotations to getting literally 3 shotted by the same class.
the difference is extreme and this difference wasnt felt at all in all pvp from 10-59 (which i have lvled on almost purely pvp on one class.)
the extreme difference didnt kick in before 60, it could be some broken class setup, but i do recall trying almost everything last time and just ended giving up and leaving and just from a few fights again i had the exact same feel of how rediculess the balance felt at lvl 60 pvp, while i havent noticed worth mentioning problems at any other lvl doing pvp, which just removed all will to play the game at all again.

I didn't say that gear was unimportant, just that good gear doesn't always = paid tons to get it. Money helps, but a lot of players get decent gear just by playing a lot and by playing smart.
It also sounds like you might not understand how or why your target was able to withstand your attacks. You should play a bit with each class and spec if you're curious to know how they work. Understanding game mechanics makes ALL the difference. Even within the same class you can find some game-changing differences in how they're played.
And that being said, if you are a so-so geared player without a lot of PvP experience up against a BiS Sentinel GWF who knows what s/he's doing, your odds just aren't good. You can probably guess from reading the forums that there's a good deal of debate about that particular spec.
This is why people have been asking for GS tiers for L 60 PVP. You just don't observe the vast differences in the lower levels, because even a L 59 char can only equip so much better then a L 50. Where as once you hit 60, some people jump in with mixed pre60 gear with as low as 5k GS and run into people with double or more their own GS. Even without a single piece of ancient gear, most people can get 10k GS.

Gear isn't your problem.
I've also got over 190 days of consecutive game play and over 40 days /played on my class.
Maybe if you didn't give up previously you would have decent gear/enchants and experience to back it up.
