Help Testing Man-at-Arms

Hi,

I expect the answer to this to be "no" but maybe someone out there can help.

I would very much like to test out how the Man-at-Arms does at purple levels on Test before sinking the AD and cash and time into doing so when it becomes live. I've had luck with him as an HR and he makes the ranged thing much more survivable but at 39 he's starting to lose his ability to survive/taunt, so to speak.

Problem: I don't have 1.55M AD on test required to upgrade him from white (where he is now) to purple (or even on live, for that matter). I tried buying the Feywild pack but the 600K didn't show up after I bought it (it's available to me on live, but not on test).

If there's anyone on test with 1.55M AD they don't care about and wouldn't mind giving to a total stranger to test, let me know; I am Razesh@rakthis.

    Here is how to get AD on the preview server.

    1. Make a copy of your character on live with the most AD.
    2. With the character you want the AD on, put up an item on the AH with a buyout of however much AD you have on character you just copied (or just below it)
    3. Log into the character you just copied and buy the item you put up on the AH.
    4. Repeat until you have the needed AD.

    And yes, the AD from the Feywild pack only shows up on live. Would be a shame to waste it on the preview server.

    It will just add a number after the name if you create multiple copies.

    I can't seem to find how to make a new thread(maybe I don't have permissions to since I'm new?) so I tried finding a relevant thread to ask this in...

    Will there be a way to transfer characters off the test server back to the main server when Shadowmantle goes online? So that all the hours of play you put in don't go to waste?

    I don't have high hopes that it will be possible but I figured I'd check just in case.

    The answer is NO. What happens on Test, stays on Test.
