Crashing/Disconnecting Since Last Patch? Try This...

1.) Open the Neverwinter launcher (where you type in your password to get access to the game)...
2.) Click on "Options" in the upper right of the launcher window...
3.) At the bottom, under "Game", there is a "Gameplay Proxy" option...
4.) Select the proxy option that coincides with your region, U.S. or E.U.
5.) Hit "Save". Now try and play.

I hope this helps you guys out.

    It's a great idea. man. But the thing is I've already tried that. I also tried Safe Mode. Both option's keeping crashing on me.

    I spoke to soon. I keep crashing to login screen. This seemed to work only for a couple hours last night.

    Haven't been able to log in after last patch. Keep crashing on loading screen.

    Again another great idea. The thing IS, I tried "Tech Suppost" and "It" or "They" gave me this "C:\Perfect World Entertainment\Battle of the Immortals\Bin" as an option to type into the address bar and it kept taking me to a dead end;)

    That shouldn't be the case. Anyway, some clarification is needed here: Is the game hanging on loadup on the first load after patching? It's not uncommon in this particular case.

    For me, the game hangs after Character Selection screen. Shows the protector's enclave load screen. The progress bar gets almost to the end, then it says something like "Disconnected from Server", and pops back to the log in screen (account name, and password).

    I just have BLACK CHARACTER SELECTION screen. I can hear the music in the background but I can't see anything. This is after the Cryptic load screen and the Neverwinter load screen after that which happens after selecting PLAY on the patch/launcher. When I go to minimize the screen it crashes every single time.

    the game crash on the preview server and i wat play hunter ranger class

    I am getting Server not Responding messages many many times a day since the patch. I can be in any instance as well. From Feywild to Protectors Enclave. Im sure this is a common "bug" in the foundry but before the patch I NEVER got disconnected from the server! This has happened to me numerous times today and last nite! I have everything set to default, have more than enough ram to handle this game, its NOT my computer.

    I am also having this problem except my character is in Rothe Valley. I was able to log in with my other character in Ebon Downs though.
