Well no, it could mean several things. Why don't you simply write what you want to say?

First of all, if you're new in Neverwinter and you don't know what class to start lemme help you just a lil bit. Should you take the CW? well i would have say yes but they just nerf the best set which is High Vizier(hv) so no. Should you take TR? No because they nerfed it too and they are about to nerf it again (no more perma stealth + they are going to add an artefact that increase your opponent to see you when your stealth) in other word : no more point holding, no more escape, no more strategy. Should you take the GF? i would say no because i've never seen alot of good GF except 1 or 2 (i have to say that i've never played this class but i have some exped guildmate that know it well so trust me). Should you take the DC? Maybe if you want to pointhold and heal your teamates but yeah you might wait for the next class before you make your choice. LAST POINT we are going to talk about the GWF aka Great Weapon Fighter they buff it recently and they are going to make some huge change in the next patch. I've talked alot with a guildmate/friend and we were arguing about which class is better TR or GWF to pointhold and weren't agreeing on which one was better but now theres is nothing to argue cuz the TR is detectable when hes stealth so...you cant pointhold while stealth + the gwf is going to be more tanky

So if you're new to the forums, let me give you a hand in terms of using line breaks. :)

It all comes down to playstyle. Different people enjoy playing different ways, and some classes are more forgiving than others. I have all five classes at 60 and geared fairly well. I am really, really looking forward to the Ranger on live.

GF is actually a very forgiving class and when played well is a heck of a lot of fun. They're really quite hard to kill and as such as a great starting class for new players. They're very slow and you have to spec to deal high damage, but it allows for very solid play with a lot of great utility skills.

The changes to GWF are great, and mean it will probably be even more fun to play than it has been! This makes them even more effective in PvP and will hopefully cut down on a good bit of the PvE whinging from folks who want to be able to zerg and be unkillable.

TR is great for those who want to be able to move and kill rapidly. Stealth allows for a different kind of gameplay and permastealth is still a solid option.

DC is the only option for those who want to heal, but it is also a functional DPS class and amazing in PvE solo play. Speccing for PvP (which you seem to be focused on) as a high defense build allows you to play as a pocket GF and hold a point against multiple average players.

CW is an excellent class even with the HV nerf, since that was clearly not WAI in the first place. When specced well for DPS and Control, they can be amazing utility players in any kind of group.

to the op... instead of being vague and then attempting to write an expose on what class you should choose, why can't you be specific?

I think anyone looking only at damage output from a class and not looking at the playstyle is perhaps approaching what they do with their recreational time the wrong way.

I also have all classes at 60, in mostly reasonable gear. I find GF quite hateful to play outside of dungeons. Its an extremely clunky design and painful to play at times. Inside dungeons most of those limitations go away and its a solid tank class. That said I still regard it as one of the worst ever designed tank classes in any game I've played.

    So why?
What about it is so painful for you and have you played around with different builds?

The slow speed is painful, but for the way I play my GF the gap closers are fantastic. Take the mount into combat and then using Threatening Rush and Lunging Strike to chase down enemies.

Could you please be more specific? This post is all about your opinion and much of that is based on opinions of your friends. I checked the Patch Notes that you linked but didn't see any post from you in that forum.
So at the moment I'd have to disagree with your opinions.

Aye, Threatening Rush and Lunging Strike make up for some of the clunk. My main gripe is the shield and lack of dodge mechanics. Especially when compared the GWF's very fluid playstyle. I realize they are different classes. I also object to having to use a precious ability slot to gain the ability to move around the play area.

    Stuff like that.

Conversely, I see the CW as one of the best designed classes in any MMO I've played. Cleric also is huge amounts of fun to play (my main, and still my preferred choice when dungeoneering). People may gripe about DPS and some other stuff but both the GWF and TR have great playstyles. GWF imo brings a lot of utility and safety-net to a dungeon group.
