I reinstalled Neverwinter after a few months of being away from it, and now I can't even play the game. It gets past the Cryptic loading screen, just to get stuck at the 'reloading material files' Neverwinter loading screen. I can't verify my files OR disable on demand patching, because whenever I go to save my launcher options, it crashes. Any suggestions for someone who REALLY wants to get back into the game?

When you first open the launcher, there should be an 'options' link or button you can click. Select 'safe mode' and try that.

The new patch fails for me as it says one of the files is locked. Just started happening so I haven't searched it out yet but this was the 1st post I saw that might be related, going to try as was said and launch in Safe Mode.

Unusually run in Administrator mode actually worked for me this time
-Try turn off User Account Control (UAC) and restart your PC
-Temporarily disable Antivirus
-Run ipconfig/flushdns in command prompt (admin mode)
