Best way to get AD from event ? Purses, Strongboxes or Chests ?

If you were just interested in getting RAD from the event, what do you think is the best way to go about it ? Open the coin purses or gamble with fewer Treasure Chests ? Or somewhere in the middle with the Strongboxes ?

    Chests, got 256k rADs in 2nd chest.
    Sunshine - Trickster Rogue
    Gladiator - Control Wizard
    Death - Great Weapon Fighter
    High Priestess - Devoted Cleric

    Whereas purses will average out better, since you're opening more of them.

    ("I got lucky on the second chest" isn't a good indicator of how easy it is to get the RAD. Personally, I did 11 of the medium boxes - trying to get the pants - and didn't get RAD from any. Which still isn't any indication of odds, of course. :p)

    Well like 2guildies got the rADs from 2nd box also, thats kinda lucky.. and got pants too, opened 5 of them.
    Sunshine - Trickster Rogue
    Gladiator - Control Wizard
    Death - Great Weapon Fighter
    High Priestess - Devoted Cleric

    I usually would open all the purses though. Trading in 8 chances for AD for one chance at a huge AD is bit of a bummer to me, not to mention I don't have much faith in the rng gods so yeah :P. Purses are much safer *Or you could sell each at the AH, not a bad price if you're selling bulks*. If you're going for boxes, go for the 64k AD one, plus they might have dragon eggs which could sell for quite a few AD *Might want to save on those though*

    Yeah, my natural instinct is that it will be safer to open the purses instead of gambling on much fewer chests. I too don't have much faith in RNG, especially the one they use in this game, lol.

    I like the boxes over the purses and the chests. Chests have a huge risk/reward factor because they cost 32 purses and the purses have the chance at giving your potions, which I am sure is the most common.

    I'm not interested in the cloak from the chest or the pots from the purses. The boxes remove those items and add 10 dye packs.

    Yup this exactly. Plus the boxes give you the advantage of spreading your RAD over any alts you might have. Something the chests wont do.

    Boxes can also give you teleport scrolls which are pretty useless.

    Of the 6 chests I opened, I got 3x AD, 1x pantaloons and 2x coins
    Of the 7 boxes I got 1x AD, 3x Coins 2x Pantaloons, 1x Scrolls
    Of the 40 odd purses I got around 5x AD, 12x potions, 9x scrolls and rest coins or dyes

    at very first day of the event best way was to sell chests for ~200k AD but now, because of some yahoos, it's best to open chests for a chance of getting RADs or eggs (or selling them for 50k)

    Out of 4 chests, I got 2xAD, 1 cloak and coins.

    So I took a gamble and decided to risk getting 5 boxes. Yolo, right ? As I opened the 3rd box and still got no ADs (just 2x pants and cloak), I was feeling like I made a big mistake. Stopped opening the chests and opened a few purses instead. After a while, I went back to the last 2 chests and thankfully got ADs from both of them. Decided to quit while I was ahead and opened the rest as purses. The purses did give a constant stream of ADs so did feel safer. I feel like if I got no ADs from the chests after trading so many purses for them, I'd be really cheesed off.
