If this has been suggested before, I apologize. But I've been reading some of the threads regarding the daily RAD refining cap and the heartburn it causes some folks.
Simply put, why not make a profession task (maybe artificer) that allows for refining a certain amount of RAD outside of the daily limit? You could make it a higher level task so that folks had to do some legwork before becoming eligible to do it. Using time constraints and per task limits, you could strike the right balance without negatively impacting the game economy. For instance, make it a 12-15 level task that lasts 8 hours and allows refinement of 2k RAD (the numbers are just examples; the devs would have a better idea of the proper balance). It would be one less slot that could be used in generating RAD (hello, Leadership!). It just seems like a reasonable way to give folks some flexibility. Is there any reason this couldn't/shouldn't be done?
Edit: Just for clarification, I never even come close to hitting the daily cap, so I have no personal stake either way.

Let's say that there's some sort of balance between AD being introduced into the market via refining and how much AD is removed from the market due to 10% broker fee.
If you screw with either, inflation or deflation will spin out of control. That would be bad. Very bad.
