What is up with the launcher patch?

I have been trying all day to log in and the login patcher just keeps going on and on. WTF?

    I'm having this issue " attemping to connect to controller tracker " ...Anyone else facing this issue ? this is really frustrating . sigh :(

    still no luck, patcher just keeps going and going and the patch is stuiill stuck after 78%.
    even tried new install before patching.
    any news on this?
