My quest, "An Urgent Request", has been published and even has one review but for some time I can't find it even using its code, NW_DNXLIDSL3. Does anyone know why it has apparently been lost? Would someone else see if they can find it? Would appreciate knowing.
Support will not help because it is user content. They just refer me to the forums. Are any devs checking these forums?:(
It may not be perfect - YET - but loving Neverwinter's Foundry just the same.
I found it just fine. Go to the "For Review" tab, and click "Show Advanced". Then put the code, which is NW-DNXLIDSL3, with a hyphen instead of an underscore, in the "Short Code" box. Brought it right up.
Thank you very much for checking that out. I have done just what you did but get the "no results" reply. It looks like they have disabled it for me, the author. Now, I can at least feel comfortable about asking others to play it.

It shouldn't be disabled for you to search for it, because all authors play their own quests... some a lot.
I sometimes have that problem where I do a search for my quest, and it does not come up using the search query.
Firstly, make sure that you are searching from the Review Tab, because if you search from any of the other tabs, it will not show up. Secondly, if the exact name is not coming up on the search, the search is still indexed by partial names. Try using some of the title and see if the search populates.
Finally, once the server is back up, I will run your quest for you. After you have two reviews, you will end up visible on the Review Board. Until the developers cycle out the quests on the New Tab, unforunately, once you have over 4 Reviews, you will be caught in Limbo forcing a search to find your quest. Hopefully, not forever, but Cryptic still has the **** old republished quests listed on the New Tab pushing out all of the other quests with less than 1000 reviews, with some exceptions of a couple with several hundred reviews.
As I said, once the servers are back up tomorrow, I will play your quest and give you my notes. You should create a Foundry Page for your quest, like most other authors do, so you can describe a little about your quest and people can post their impressions. It is a good way for you to get some traction with your publications in the Foundry. Please play mine in exchange for playing yours, thanks:
Fall of the City of Grumura. You can click the name to go to the quest's forum page to see pics and learn more about the quest.
Actually, I think there's a problem with the Foundry database system.
I recently updated my quest, saved it, then published it for my friends to test. I renamed it with a version number "v0.5" to allow me to keep track of my changes in a change log. My friends got back to me and said they're still seeing my old experimental map (w/ hardly anything in it and without the v0.5 name). I tried searching for it myself and sure enough, I only get the old version with 7 play-throughs (it already had about 12 that I know of).
I did some digging on this in the Forum and found that it was a known issue. Where the foundry occasionally gives you an old version of the catalog. The thread Foundry mission not updating live (Updates not showing until instance switch) highlights the issue. Everything from missing recently published quests to old versions popping up.
Bottom line (and I've tested this myself with varying success): if you can't find your Foundry Quest (or are getting an old version), switch to a different instance/zone and try searching for the Foundry Quest again. It's worked for me (but not always taking just one instance change).
Hopefully this is in the devs' "to do" list since I'm really getting into Foundry building. I already have a campaign outlined. Anyway just thought I'd share. Cheers and keep building!
