Question on Fomorian weapon crafting

Finally I was able to get all the pieces for the dagger with the 2 purple grindstones. But now it shows:

Tier 1 = 20 %
Tier 2 = 80 %

What's the best/efficient way in terms of AD to raise the % ?

    3 white should give 24% more, 2 greens would give 32% more, 1 blue gives 24% more.
    So, 3 white assets.

    Make sure you have 100% on Tier 2.

    If you gamble you may fail, and if you fail your fragments are bye bye.

    I used 4 blue and 1 white to make the chance 100%.

    So with 3 white assets now tier 2 = 100% but tier 1 is 0 %. What does this translate to ?

    That translates to you guaranteed to get the rank 2 result, which is the weapon as opposed to a chance of getting the rank 1 result which is nothing at all.
