One of the things that made me leave other MMOs was the necessity to run daily quests for many days in a row before I could advance in the game. It troubles me that I have to grind daily quests in a game that I hoped would be my salvation from dailies!
Neverwinter was supposed to be my escape from the MMORPG trends of 2008, but it continues to defy my expectations.
Daily Quests should lead to a nice bonus for players willing to do them for months at a time, not a requirement. I'm willing to play for an hour or two a day, but I want to spend that time in a DD or PvP, not playing the same boring dailies over and over.
Surely, I'm not the only player who feels this way. I ask of the Devs, please use your innate creativity and let this be the last expansion that requires the grinding of dailies.
This is a tough one. I'm at the tail end of the Feywild dailies (just need a bunch of the little blue sun things, now) and I've enjoyed working through the campaign system, though it's gotten a little repetitive as I work towards the final boons (which will take me a while of doing the fey spark/weekly).
I'd be happy with another, similar campaign as a module, but I'd like more variety: dailies are fine, but I want to there to be, say (using Feywild as an example) 6 sets of dailies, not three, and 9 instances with chests, and a few levels of unlock in each zone so the zones gain depth over time.
Basically, I like the general shape, but I want more variety and interruption in what I'm repeating, so if I have to repeat set A 12 times, there's some set B and C in the middle, if that makes any sense. One advantage (and limit, but I accept the limit) of Feywild is that it's not infinite: you work your way through, and then you're basically done.
Oh, and next module? I'd like a few more shinies to earn - maybe a mount? A pet that's not a @#@#$ striker? Dyes? Unique armor? I recognize this has to be balanced against zen/$$$.
ETA: I think if they can add multiple modules, in time they'd have a solid, varied end-game for a solo player like me. Unlike, say, CO, where it seemed like they kept trying different things and then abandoning them.
Its a real grind and it is making it harder and harder for me to log in every day because it is really sucking the fun out of the game. I am at the point where I only need sparks so it is taking less time each day, but I think it may be too late now because as soon as I am done I log out and go do something else. I don't even bother using my keys anymore because I just want to be done as fast as possible. This area really burns you out unless you pay to speed through it. I hope they don't make another module like this one because I don't think I could force myself to do something like this again.
Prior to feywild you only had to do dailies if you wanted extra rough AD. Now with feywild you need to complete your dailies to get the last 3 boons. If you are a casual player and not big into PvP you really don't need the last 3 boons and will do fine without them. Not to mention once you do finish boons you never have to grind the dailies again.
I have 5 60's currently and I don't mind the dailies, I don't do dailies on every character every day but the ones that I do only take <20 minutes usually.

We are definitely dominating, and we are always about to win.
Dailies are almost always intended to give people who have done "everything else" something to do when not waiting for a party to go run dungeons or what not. I hate to be the broken record, but you don't have to do them. Unless of course you are referring solely to Sharandar. Even then, accessing MC is rather easy and you can stop there if thats all you wanted.

I feel ya. They are repetitive, excessive and eventually boring. I understand the idea, reason for dailies, sure. But what makes nwn worse in this regard is that content outside of dailies are slapped with an exhaustion mechanic as well. It has cripple 60 game play so badly. They all deserve a raise. Promotions all around!! ...lol

I am a little bias on this one. I usually feel that daily quests are a chore to do and it kinda sucks the fun out of the game after a while. It's hard to get myself to start doing the dailies but once I start doing them I enjoy every second of it. I love running around Sharandar and that's all because I love the Redcaps - the animations, the voices, everything.
I would love to see a Redcap companion. A controller maybe - one that actually controls, hopefully.
I hate dancing with Lady Luck. She always steps on my toes.
They're referred to as grinds for a reason. If there wasn't an incentive to do them repeatedly, almost no-one would. The danger is that some shiny new MMO will come out (D&D v5 is in the pipeline apparently) and everyone will jump ship for something that at least feels fresh at first.
I hoping that the next expansion is going to be a little different from the Feywild setup - essentially just a continuation of the leveling areas with the same mechanics, monsters and quest structures. I don't imagine it will be. PvP or DDs with a good party are the best bits of NW. The Dailys are grim.

Putting the Buff into Debuff since 2013 \o/ (Does that even make sense)?
