Bots in PVP

When is PWE going to do something about them? also reward people for staying on the losing team and not quitting , this is by far the biggest issue to do with pvp.
balance doesnt even come in to it if you cant play properly.

Get rid of the bots , even though we all know youre making money off them.

    I haven't seen PvP bots for a while.

    Haven't seen one either.
    The biggest issues with pvp is unfair matches and the fact that it only has 5v5 mode and 2 maps.

    How about rewardig people for winning too? Pvp just feels so pointless right now. The 1st place blues sell for jack sheet, and all gear that you buy for glory is BoP.

    I haven't seen bots in a while though.

    I think i seen a pvp bot some days ago.
    Winning is really higher rewarded as losing. ~200 glory for over 2000 points vs. 350+ for only 800-1000.

    yes there are still bots..
    but you know what.. i dont mind them so much.. because they are better then many players. They always stay on point 2.. while terribad rambos go chasing enemies all over the map

    LOL i know its sad but true. The botz are pretty much better then most players. They will never get rid of botz unless they remove PVP then at least they would remove the botz running in pvp

    So I know that there are still bots, but do you really see them very often anymore? I maybe see 1 bot in 8-10 games, and I do at least 10 PvP matches a day as I get my daily on every character (all 60 pvp) I would think you would have seen more of them as they can salvage gear for AD now, but from my experience anyway there have been less.

    I agree with the op people that are on the losing team need to be rewarded even if some of the team members get disconnected or leave match.

    It is total bull that i am the only team member left and don't get any thing but AD.

    Bots are on a rampage through lower level PvP matches lately. I was just in one that had 4 TR all identical halflings, all running in the exact same pattern and all attacking the exact same target. If something isn't done soon this game will be nothing but bots pvping each other. Why do it anyway? It's not like glory is good for anything after you get a set of T1 gear.

    Get gear, salvage for rough AD, lather, rinse, repeat. That would be the only logical purpose.

    Not really. a) there are ways to deal with bots, b) I also manage an ignore/black-list. All such accounts don't get talked, traded with or re-matched with. It's a big game and maybe that has little effect, but it makes me feel okay.

    - first check bots walking path
    - then PM the bot a few times <no answer could mean your dealing with a bot>
    - Check if he has been doing PvP all day with player search
    - If all the above checks out and you have yourself a bot

    Next thing you do is report the bot. The final thing you do is get a lil satisfaction by playing the foundrys "Gold Spam" or "Flower Ninja". Both have bots you can destory. Flower bots, PvP Bots, and Spam bots...enjoy :)

    Yes this last week on beholder server there is alot more bots Turning up.. I have done 10-15 pvps in the last 2 days and I think there was only once without a bot.. What I noticed is the bots now seem alot more complex.. The ones I saw actually seemed to score quite alot of points.. Even getting some kills, on one occasion the bot actually beat a couple of real players which was quite embaressing for them

    So is PWE going to do anything to stop this as it is ruining what bit of fun PvP has. I like this game, even though at times it can be trying, and I don't want to see it ruined by bots. The next logical step is for the bot programmers to figure out how to infiltrate the dungeons. The economy would become destroyed wouldn't it?

    Cryptic doesn't make any money fixing botters. They're here to stay.

    PVP is starting to see and upswing in Bots again. I saw one that was botting when I played before work and return from a 10hr shift to get in a couple of bouts in and same person was still botting over 10 hours later. There has been on several occasions that I've been stuck in parties full of bots. It gets quite annoying when your the only one covering your "base" point. There is a simple fix to keep the bots out of PVP just make the accept button not have a hot key (Shift + 1) and have the notification window generate in a random spot.

    I hear a lot of people say that PVP isn't profitable for PWE. Honestly in most Free to Play models, the biggest "zenners" are the hardcore PVPers. Considering that they don't profit much from drops/loot they have to in their reasoning "pay to win". So in all honesty they are only costing themselves a portion of there playerbase leaving because of bots which in turn hurts there pockets.
