Lag Spike?

Is that just me, or other people have the same problem? I am having a huge lag spike after the new patch. I checked my ping is only around 80-120 with cmd, but in the game, i got like 600-1200. What is the problem? How can I fix it?

    I noticed it was pretty laggy all night and then in the last 45 minutes, after epic server not responding wait and closing out, i haven't been able to get back in. i also noticed when i try to log back in the version number is bumped up from .4 to .5.

    After patch I logged in no issue. Now major issue trying to login. Game appears to keep re-patching. After I finally login major lag! Takes several minutes just to get game screen loaded. Support really needs to check what the issues are!

    Getting some strange lag spike here, too. Never used to lag at all until this patch.

    When I am logging in, it will disconnect me and I have to try it multiple times to get on.

    ditto on lag an version change. Logged about 7pm ZULU no lag.. got back on about 2am Zulu with SLOW patch connect. DC'd 2 times while running professions.

    Maybe its just another 'ninja' patch gone wrong... SIGH

    Lag spikes every 10 seconds in PvP are even boring.

    Is lag spikes the same as framerate dropping? I have like 60 fps then it'lll randomly drop to like 20 or 30(i think) when in pvp, during fights or just riding around pe. It's weird because I don't have rubberband when this happens so probably no lag.

    Last weeks Maint. patch included a partial fix for cpu lag in high population areas. It was great. My lag went down 95%. After yesterdays patch my lag was worse than ever. I couldn't move at all at times. What did you break?
