"Patching things up" breaks more each time you are stuck with it. A reversal of this process would be approved... like... having at least ONE reachable tree with sap AND a ... whatever sits before the tree usually, I don't see them ANY more. Like... none. Quest unsolveable... great. Tower? Unreachable... even greater. Yay.
I have been reporting this for 3 days and via in-game tickets as well.
This is so easy to fix. The devs have two easy options:
1. The dryad tree wounds are instanced to players
or
2. The dryad tree reset timer should be similar to the reset timer on the flowers (blight area) or poison gas (dark fae area) or even the mushrooms.
Either the reset time is insanely long (I hid near a tree and watched it for 30 minutes and it did not reset) or there is some kind of bug relating to the quest - my suspicion is the latter, as you seem to be able to get Vital Sap drops from killing redcaps and as I see it you should only be getting them from those little sap cooker doodads.

Do something, please, and QUICK. Thank you.
Ok, some common knowledge for you buddy. You can enter Tower of Celadaine even without the quest. actually the quest is pointless apart from the 16silver or so reward. Just remember that you have dark fey keys so you can open chest at the end. But yeah, Gnarloot Caves, The Witch Fen and Tower of Celadaine are farmable.

After playing in Alpha for Atari and then Alpha again for PWE through until now, I must say: I give up on this friggin game.
As a programmer myself, I can honestly say that you developers need to FIRE your friggin project manager and tell his boss to hire someone who actually plays these damned games enough to know WTF your customers need. I'm just sick of this company and it's bass ackwards way of thinking.

It's not the reset timer, it's the script. It stops working under unknown conditions, because trees never reset in many instances. Only fresh instances aren't broken... for some time.
Well, not like they're going to fix it any time soon, I mean, there is really an unbelievable amount of stuff that needs to be fixed asap, basic ones even but as long as there is some kiddo giving his allowance for zen, they just won't give a <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>.
From what I've seen till now, most of PWE games are garbage in the long run (and yeah, they had me done this time around again) so they probably don't care at all if the players are gonna stick to the game or not.
Just /delete, think of new gameconcept/background/ripoff from another mmo, use the same (lazy) developers, have new game launch, profit ???, then repeat.
It's in the bug section. In a week or 2, hopefully they have it fixed they said. Also for GWFs, this week supposedly our unstoppable bug is fixed. I don't play TR, but that's at least hope they'll fix yours too.

[Edit: 8 instance changes later... checking every tree in the area... no sap. Great, when PW breaks something, it really IS broken.]

The worse thing is that majority of developers think they are the best and that their code is perfect.
