Minor Grand Slavemaster Ring of Control:
142 Power, 142 Critical Strike, 142 Recovery
I see the Pyrotechnic Band recommended here as the CW's ring of choice, however it has no recovery and less power. So is the Pyrotechnic Band recommended only for those with T2 gear, which would presumably provide all of the necessary recovery so that additional supplementation of recovery via rings wouldn't be necessary?
Currently I have the Minor Grand Slavemaster rings enchanted with Rank 6 Dark's, I have the Gauntlygrym PVP set of gear (not quite T2). But should I be switching to the Pyrotechnic Bands? If so, what would you suggest enchanting it with?

Enchanting is always special to a single character in his current state of equpiment. You should get Armor Penetration up to around 2,540 first, than Critical Strike as high as possible (till 3,000). I asume, that you already have above 2,500 up to 3,000 Recovery--should be possible even with the Champion Mage set.

It's your call. Many who run with HV set love Pyro bands because we already have enough Recovery. If you go SW or GG T2, Rings of Control aren't a bad choice.
Or ancient necromancer's ring of undeath. It gives higher stats than the two you mention and is relatively cheap, but it has a defense slot so don't use it if you want to be a glass canon.

instead of pyro or minor slavemaster's ring, I would just go for the blue Piercing Berserker Ring. of course, a glass cannon build.
personally I prefer to go with a pair of Burning Light Rings. and I could still do my job just as well.

I have been playing around with two Greater Rings of Health: +500 Hp, +188 Regen. Combined with High viz and RoE you can afford to slot defensive right hand side of the character sheet. I still crit on average for 15k with Icy Rays on tab in a Thauma build.

15k is weak for HV set. Low armpen?
As for pyro rings: they are only epic rings with crit, armpen, offense slot and zero recovery.
As I stated I am wearing defensive right hand side of the Character sheet.
It is lower than a Full Glass cannon build, but realistically it does not need to be any higher than that. Still bursting everything but GFs down in one rotation. Just more survivability to boot. Just over 33k Hp, with 1200 regen.

A build with amazing offensive capabilities but very poor defence - all stats, feats and gear designed to give maximum firepower. One hit and you're dead though
Either that or a novelty item for your mantelpiece.
Tele Savalas, Dwarf Thaumaturge CW
Putting the Buff into Debuff since 2013 \o/ (Does that even make sense)?
