GF with 9k power?

Saw a gf the other day with 9k power doing more dps than my gwf lol. He was in full timeless gear. How is this possible?

    I have 10700 power but good GWFs outparse me anyway. Just slot R8 radiant on every offense slot (not pet) and take releckless attacker feat and you can break 10k wall.

    1. Timeless is GF's personal dps set.
    2. Reckless Attacker feat of Conqueror paragon doubles any Power from items on yourself (not from buffs or features ofc). Thus, a full Power specced GF (not in Timeless) in rank 10 Radiants can reach 13k Power unbuffed. More common for geared dps GF's is 7k-10k Power.

    Thus, you can see the combination is an uncommon build due to its expense and specific niche (PvE dps).

    Simply wrong, you can get 9k power with 5k each blue items from the auction house (Smiting Valiant X) and some Rank 5s. Since Sharandar update you can get 243 power Ring/Neck/Belt (Smiting X) for like below 1k AD. Also the Sharandar passive alone gives you +500 power. As a GF stacking power up to 12k is quite easy. You could probably even reach 20k with stone, if you would solely focus on power and leave all other stats.

    Power from companions is not affected by Reckless Attacker and the maximum you could get from an augment companion is 2,529 (300x6 + 243x3) plus approx. 160 from an Ioun Stone. So, that's a total maximum of 13k + 2.6k = 15.6k.

    10k power here as GF and still tanky enough to take the draogn ligthing attack without dying :) i use timeless +CN and usually 2nd or 3rd in DPS if i am with a good TR or CW if not usually 1st
    Everything works out in the end . If it hasn't worked out yet, it isn't the end...

    easy GF have aoe at will which do huge damage and it dont share damage when more targets like ours at wills it have good single target at will and encounters and it had encounter skill which could hit 280k+ to bosses idk is that still works

    Yea with timeless set + full buff pots (potency, watermelon, hero feast) i'm at about 10k. 16.5k gs.

    And thats just timeless + rank 7 enchants (minus one, I swap all my tenebrous for pve to radiant except my weapon)

    Still miss my prepatch 14k power stalwart set.. But at least the new power buffs offset that nerf a bit.

    Though the ultimate power set is the knights captain - you can get every class - your whole party minus you over 10k power with that. My buff gives around 4k power iirc.
    4x4 = +16k power all told.. Beat timeless as long as your group is mostly competent.

    uhh no. Cleaves AOE is smaller then GWFs wicked strike.
    And also suffers lower damage if it hits multiple targets (tho the penalty may be different, think its around -10% per additional target for cleave).

    And no, we can't hit for 280k, and never could aside from exploits that have all been fixed.

    Uhmmm i've seen 267k crit videos, and i did once a 160k one, which is not bad either... but its with 3 HV mages stacking to draco... anyway, 8k power is easily obtainable while having 50%+ mitigation, high recovery and AP/Crit well over 20%

    Those 350k-245k AoD crits videos were done with 2 CW (one with SW set) + 17stacks w/ Timeless set. Meter? Top.
    I still have some of those videos left on my stream but anyways.... having 9k-10k+ power isnt special at all. I see so many GFs with 9k power and 0-200arp... now those guys are special kind of something something.

    I am pretty sure they were done with max stacked pre-patch Stalwart Bullwark. Since Sharandar patch I didnt see too many crits close to 200k.

What I was saying was if you were using (perfect) Smiting Valiant set up, combined with a high power weapon and shield and Rank 10s you could get even more power on your char and combined with a stone, maybe push it up to 20k, but yeah 15k+2,6k seems to be around the max and I am not saying that this should be the stats to aim for :D

    Yeah completely overrated that they nerfed the whole mechanic of the set. The buff from Stalwart gave more power than Reckless Attacker which is the only reason people spec conqueror.
