Encounters don't attack while testing maps. Help!

I'm working on building my first foundry quest and ran into a problem while testing. None of my encounters will attack me. All of my encounters have their behavior set to "True Combat, No Wander", and I've tried testing it with my character's combat mode set to "Normal Combat" and "God Mode", and I still don't get a response. I'm trying to make sure that I'm getting the correct AI reaction, but even the enemies that I have set to appear immediately, and are there from the very start of the map, just stand there and do nothing. I don't even get the text pop ups that I specified in the "Override Attack Text". It's like I'm completely invisible/non-interactable.

Can someone please help me?

Thanks in advance. -Vohnsinn

are you by chance using the "edit mode" option? if you are that is what it is. on another note, earlier tonight I was testing a new map and only 2 of the 3 creatures fought me while the 3rd just stood around watching his companions get the smack down, it wasn't until the other 2 were dead that he decided it was finally time to attack.

I have noticed that the foundry seems to be really glitch at times, there have been times that I cannot open drop down menus at all, so it could just be the foundry engine itself needing to have its hamster replaced

Also, make sure that your encounters are not guards, which are friendly encounters and will not attack.

FREAKING THANK YOU!!! I was using guards because I'm invading a human area. I switched the encounter over to Drow and just costumed it... so now I have my guards that attack. You would think that if the guards didn't attack you, that they wouldn't be in with the other encounters. Thanks again.
