BEAT EM UP (Fist Fighter Class)

I've been playing as a Trickster Rogue and GWF for the longest time now. I absolutely love this game and I can't get off of it and I'm thinking about even dropping some cash to make the Guardian Fighter...

However, I really want to make a character much, much more personal, and what I'm about to suggest might appeal to many others.

Sparring is fun as hell but I don't have to tell you that simply watching brutal martial arts movies (I recommend The Raid Redemption if you haven't seen it), boxing, MMA, football, or anything that requires bone-breaking contact makes friends want to get off the couch and duke it out

So how about a Fist Fighter as an upcoming class :D

Maybe not a character that uses bare-knuckles, but how about gauntlets or cestuses (cesti? that sounds wrong) as their weapon/gloves. The gloves equipment could be elbow guards that compliment their weapon?

Their main focus in PVE single out the most threatening add and pummel him out of existence or debuff multiple foes with shockwaves

Their main focus in PVP is to charge in on a team fight and tackle the biggest threat and carry him out of the battle to challenge him 1 on 1 (for example: bum rushing an unstealthed TR out of a DC's healing circle)

How crazy would it be to be in the middle of a fight, getting your rear-end handed to you, and suddenly your life is saved by some dude/girl slamming into your would-have-been-murderer so he can crush him underfoot?

Shift should be sprint just like the GWF, but with his head down and arms moving, and when he comes in contact with an enemy he goes into tackle stance and carries him for another two seconds: the more movement speed he has, the further he goes and leaves his target prone
-deals no damage
-the sprint meter has to look like the TR's. The Fist Fighter can't tackle anyone unless his meter is passed half way.
-can be controlled while sprinting, but not while tackling
-no one else can be tackled for 10 seconds, sprinting is still allowed for positioning or escaping-

Tab I know this is an awkward place to put it really, but the Fist Fighter has a type of dodge/block that has two charges. If timed correctly, he puts his hands up and moves out of the way to dodge or block. A successful block gives him Action Points
-the charges definitely need cooldowns so it's not overpowered

Some abilities
Triple Punch (Dempsey Roll)
-Stuns the target Please make it so that everytime the target is hit, it LOOKS like an npc getting hit in combat advantage

Back Kick
-Knock back-

Savage Uppercut
-Knock Up-

Arial Assault
-Jumps into the air and stays there for .5 seconds (just a vanity thing) and shoots his feet to the ground. AOE-

Grab move
-Grabs target by the neck (Control Wizard animation) and throws a haymaker. Knock down-

Charge
-Like the GF's lunge-

Shockwave attacks
-Debuffs
-AOE
-Much less damage than standard moves or at wills

DailyMaximum Shockwave
-3 second channel, long range cone (put the camera closer behind back [Gears of War style]) and use the A and D keys to move the hit box from side-to-side. Knock Back and Prone-

COME ON DEVS, WE CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN :D

I'm pretty sure the monk will make it into this game at some point... see DDO style monk with Dark / Light ... I played it... and yes it was/is VERY satisying.

So far they have stuck with making classes based on the builds from 4th edition. Great Weapon and Guardian for example are both builds of the fighter class.

There isn't really a build of the fighter that relies on not using weapons at all. The closest is the brawler from the 2nd Martial Power book. That build relies on use a one handed weapon and then uses the free hand for various attacks like grabbing the opponent and of course punches as well.

And like already mentioned there is the monk class and it's various builds.

The brawler uses spiked gauntlets, which count as unarmed, but still allow them to use weapon enchants (like feyslaughter, to keep those pesky teleporters locked down :D)

They used to be great before the kulkor arms master nerf, with world serpents grasp, though ineffective at high levels. Really the only effective epic defenders are the paladin and hybrid swordmage/warlock.
