The fairly new Barkskin echantment sounds pretty cool for a CW, in theroy at least it should make us a lot less squishy, but whats it like in practice? does it work as well as it sound?

Is it good enough to favor it over Soulforge for PvE
(Soulforge will always be best in PvP I imagine)

Well imho SF is still better. Im running quite decent defensive setup right now and im 4/4 HV set.
So overall i should consider BS as the better choice since i do not drop low on HP often. Yet when **** have hit the fan few times SF saved my ***, allowed me to heal myself, kite mobs around for some time, stun them and quickly resurect fallen ally and then it was already refreshed for the next tight situation.

Sure the new BS might be quite decent enchant to use, i have to test it more deeply.
But as for now - SF is still way to go imo.

Certainly good feedback, thanks for the info... I have High Vizer myself, just trying decide which chant to work on, i imagine BS is easier to get good quality version of tho.

Does anyone else have opinion on this topic from field testing both?
