Aranea Needs Buffed

I have the new Aranea companion at Rank 30 and I can confirm it does need buffed. If the game wants to have combat companions have a place in dungeons or even questing then they should not be underpowered.

Bite: 600-700 dmg, 3 second cooldown.

Storm Pillar: AoE around target for 2600 - 2800 damage, 15 second cooldown

Webbed Terrain: web circle that slows targets in it, 8 second cooldown.

The companion is very interesting and swaps back to human form from spider when casts Storm Pillar. Based on using this companion in Sharandar it feels very underpowered. Bite should take a boost up to around 1500 dmg and Storm Pillar should have a lowered cooldown like 6-8 seconds and also boost in damage to around 3500.

    Its counterpart in nightmare lockbox - phoera
    Feathers of Flame: Cone AOE attack 590-652 dmg, 12 sec CD
    Fiery Talon: Single target 331-385, 2 sec CD

    No, Aranea needs to be nerfed

    I use the Aranea companion at level 30, and I find it acceptable. I wouldn't mind a buff, but I think it's more important that the companions of a particular role (e.g., strikers) and quality do about the same total dps. At least buff the weaker ones to equity.

    Agreed. Companions if strikers should be equaled and overall buffed.

    All non augment companions need a buff.
