Returning player - some questions

So I quit playing Neverwinter back in Early June.

I've decided to come back and check out some of the changes.

I have a 60 Cleric and a 60 Wizard (I will be posting a similar thread in wizard forums)

I noticed that AS got a nerf and a lot of other changes seem to have happened as well.

I mainly played as a PvE cleric, I don't PvP much really.

My questions are this:

Nerfs/Buffs - what were they, did they make the gameplay much different?

I was running Forgemasters, Astral Shield, Sun Burst, Astral Seal, Sacred Flame, Hammer of Fate and Hallowed Ground - is this still the powers I want to run?

I am specced As follows, is this still viable or recommended?

I am using 2 2pc T2 sets - Miracle Healer and Beacon of Faith (250 recover and 250 Power)

Did they ever fix the Miracle Healer set 4pc proc to work correctly? If so does it make up for the bonus stats from other 2 pc sets?

Using a blue ioun stone currently, still a good pet for cleric?

Any of these questions you may be able to answer would be appreciated. And any answers that have some math or true theorycrafting as backup rather than just personal opinions are a huge bonus.

Thanks in advance!

    - Two AS's of the same color no longer stack
    - Sunburst AP gain was nerfed drastically
    - Ethereal boon was nerfed and gives half of the divinity it used to
    - Forgemaster's Flame was (unintentionally) nerfed and heals less than it used to
    - Cleanse was nerfed/fixed and no longer removes ress sickness
    - Bastion of Health was buffed and has a shorter cooldown
    - Miracle healer works the same way it did in beta
    - Cat/stone are still the best companions
    - Bountiful fortune now gives 15% of recovery to recovery and power to power instead of swapping the two stats

mmm I think that's about all.

So I've heard. It's rare to get a chance to test it, but it was certainly true last time I tested. Which was admittedly like a month or two ago.

First off, thanks for the answers.

I only played in Open Beta, and Miracle Healers was broken then, only healing one person and always targeting you (if you were not full health) even if you had the highest health, so it's broken like that still? Or was that the intended way for the proc to work?

Is Bastion of Health worth using now or is it still HAMSTER even with the buff?

    Depends on who you ask.

I run a very BoH centric spec so its pretty much completely awesome. Others would not agree.

I run the warding feat to drop 10% of the heal for 10% straight up damage reduction and use it during the 4 second cooldown of astral shield.

In that respect its almost overpowered. There are still some very mobile fights in which i swap out for HW or FF, but that is rare.

Also healing agro is no longer the most powerful force in the verse. For PvE healing, you don't need to worry about it nearly as much as you once did.

Agree with this. I no longer feat threat reduction, plus soothe only finds its way onto my bar if i am in a very very horrible pug. (even then i usually just kite/tank instead.)

The MH set is still like that. Cryptic never fixed it. They just changed the tooltip description to fit the buggy set bonus.

The BoH cooldown is shorter by 3~4 seconds so it's just enough to alternate between AS and BoH consistently. I still don't like it, but it is decent if you spec into warding shield in the third tree.

In another thread Cryptic has posted that HoF is being looked at and that there might be some changes to it. Nothing on what or when these changes will happen but from the tone of the post it sounded like they might reverse some of the nerf to damage they have done.
