PandaPaul-- New Build "MarkDestroyer"

So here it is what I have been playing around with and the build now revolves around the stacking of Marks and the synergy GWF has with "marking targets" to increase dps

Now this build revolves the use of "perfect Bronzewood" and the marking ability it gives with aoe encounters

Perfect bronzewood: your encounter powers mark targets and marked and you ignore 16% armor on marked targets.

So as you can see. I stack less armor penetration than you would normally. I find this amount is enough to not lose any dps on the trash in dungeons.. then mini bosses and bosses are a lot easier to keep marks stacked up so that your mitigation will exceed cap anyways.

The main feats that I find crucial to this build as well
Disciple of War: 25% Armor Penetration bonus from stacked recovery. I use this as my main source of Armor penetration. I hardly stack and ArmorPen in my gear and enchants. I can still manage 1k+ with using primarily this feat

Powerful Challenge: 15% damage bonus to "marked targets" . Here is the key. You are able to stack several marks to a target and thus stacking this bonus

I tried before stacking critical and critical severity. I used to run a perfect vorpal. But I find this setup a lot better

Encounters:
Daring shout: This marks targets twice. once from the encounter power.. once from the weapon enchantment. atm the AP gain is a problem but once that is fixed I think I would find a big improvement with this build

Not SO fast: This is a very fast animation aoe encounter which I find perfect for building marks and dealing fast aoe dps to them

IBS: The rotation of encounters can be very quick and easily be able to use all 3 without taking damage. If you can stack the marks 3 times and hit IBS you can inflict massive aoe dps

Dailies:
Slam: I have tried all the other ones and I keep coming back to slam.. the animation time is just too long on avalanche and you lose more dps than it creates over that animation time.. plus leaving your party with enough time to draw too much threat.. Slam only has small dps now... but lets face it we haven't got many options with aoe dps dailies and I still find this the best one

Crescendo: I only use this on single target bosses and it the best we have at that

I have found with this build.. stacking as much power as possible to be a big dps boost

At this point I find this the best option going forward for a dps GWF.. its probably different to what people are used too but it works for me

I have started topping dps charts again.. not all but a lot.. With some CWs in my guild being seriously OP with dps..

If the photos are blah I will try and fix later.. I will also try and add more content when I get the time

Enjoy :p

Powerful Challenge does not work with Bronzewood. Tried it out and was dissappointed. It is it's own buff, but does stack on top of mark. Powerful Challenge does work well if you have a GF that keeps things marked all the time. Perfect Bronzewood is basically a straight 16% damage boost while up, and it seems to be up about 10 seconds.
    Mindflayer - Exodus
Daria - Dwarf Sentinel GWF (mistaken for Halfling a lot)
Karia (aka "The Pug") - Human Combat HR
Kayd - Human Conqueror GF - Retired

If that's the case need to do more tests.. Will update later..
And then in that case daring shout then creates 2 different mark buffs.. Which the build is spec for both.

After all tht builds I have tried this is the best GWF dps build I have found

that's exactly (apart from 3/3 armor spec and 1/3 weapon mastery, and staying power for deep gash) the build i've been thinkering around lately...will have to check the mark sinergy once i'll get my hands on a perfect bronzewood (which sadly isn't gonna be anytime soon)...keep us updated pls!

I'm really interested in trying this out, having had a greater vorpal for quite some time now and getting a little bored. Your playstyle mirrors how I switched mine up in the last patch, save for the p. bronzewood.

I was wondering if you could post some pics of your stone as well as what you enchant your gear/stone with?
