enchanted item improved randomly?

Anyone have an item increase its base stats when it was enchanted? I swear it added more more than the L6 shard I used?

    Never seen on purple item. But if your talkin about blue belts/rings. Sometimes it shows like your a lot more stats than you should. But if you look at character sheet. You really aren't, you're just getting the enchant bonus.

    Yeah, sometimes if your enchantment adds to an existing stat on item, it shows it twice. Once as the enhancement and once added to base stat. But it doesn't actually change your stat that much. You can tell by un-equipping. BTW, what's up with the drag/drop for taking off items (ie, can't do it)?
