Hey guys I just got my 4/4 Fabled Iliyanbruen set, I would like to know your opinion which one is better:

1- Thrash moob fight
2- Boss fight

I will start writing down the comparative status between the two and then give my initial thoughts:

S = Swashbuckling
F = Fabled Iliyanbruen

    My thoughts:

    1- Thrash moobs

    'S' would be better because:
    +557 power and + 1003 recovery - 7 crit
    should give more than 8000 damage in AOE over 30 secs
    ...I'm not sure

    BUT, in trash moob I have played in MC and CN, we have killed so fast that Swashbuckilng won't have time to stack the 1014 bonus and still do more than 8000 damage.

    So, I think I stay with 'F'

    2- Boss

    Usually we have to dodge between attacks and some bosses become immune at times.

    I think 'Fabled Iliyanbruen' will have a minor advantage here.

    - - - - -
    I don't know exactly how +557 power scales in damage to be conclusive.
    Neither the exactly math for lesser cooldowns 1004 recovery gives.

    ---
    So please give me your thoughts.

    the poison dot is over 30 secs on one mob. a trash mob dies in lets say average of 5 -7 secs
    557 power is about 22 damage. modified by skill multiplier = about 5-7 on duelist and about 100 on lashing blade
    cooldown benefit + AP regen = more damage . i cant quantify this for you srry.
    you have a skill that makes it unnecessary to dodge so much.
    16000 damage per minute on a boss is a pinprick

    theres also another thread a bit further down asking the same question. you may find some answers there.

    Anti-GF, i could include gwf but that class is dead right now so i remove them on the equation. LOL

    Poison is always and has been anti-high def/hp toons. 2cents.

    Unfortunately no. I have tested on PVP, In a mage the damage was 1360 each 3 seconds for 5 seconds. Applied to a GWF it was 640.
    So, I think this poison doesn't ignore defense.

    The law of physics are not applied on this game, LOL.

    I see the DoT as next to nothing and so I myself would only qualify it based on the gear stats. If it could affect more than one target at a time it might be different -- but even then not so much and that isn't really our job to do either.

    Thanks for the pics. Is that the full set? Armor looks like Swash :/ Boots and Cap are nice.
