Mid-Air stop while doing CoS

Is it just me or does this seem <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>? IDK why they made it this way but why would they do something like this?

    I think it is a part of this "Momentum is no longer maintained when jumping and throwing daggers."

    I used to think that it means when rogues jump the stacking dmg bonus would be reset. However, it seems not to be the case. I think it actually means rogues will not be able to advance forward by jumping and CoS at the same time.
    You say 4v5 is impossible? Cool story bro.

    Yea just sucks IDK why this was a problem. I think it should have been left alone IMO
