Does Time Pass Differently at Cryptic?

Starting at 10:00 AM Pacific on Saturday, August 29, Sergeant Knox will have a quest to point players to the festival grounds near Neverwinter!

AFAIK it's Thursday August 29, just saying.

Also, the in-game Calendar is all kinds of screwed up displaying July with incorrect dates, days of the week.

    I must admit I found it amusing.

    But then as they don't have a clue about a lot of things, this doesn't surprise me at all.

    AFAIK, its also only 9:00 AM Pacific. (at the moment I post this)

    I was wondering if the mistake was in "Saturday" or "29th", but as the front page says

    Event Begins: Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 10 A.M. PDT (Pacific) (When is it in your time zone?)
    Event Ends: Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 10 A.M. PDT (Pacific) (When is it in your time zone?)

    I think it should be a safe bet that the error is in the "Saturday" part.
    Hoping for improvements...

    Yes there are two errors, the Saturday is actually Thursday and the in-game calendar is displaying July.

    inb4 this is moved to bug reports rofl.

    By the PWE / Cryptic logic 2+2 = 5 , because the said so - the current state of the game is a solid proof of this statement .

    August 29 falls on a Saturday in 2015.

    That'll get changed when Som and Pin get into the office I suppose.
    Som must have had Saturday on the brain when writing that one, haha.
