I'm having this same issue, I've submitted a few tickets but have not heard anything yet. This has been happening to me since 5/21.
I think theres a limit to how much mail you can have, try deleting some mail and send again.
Tried cleaning out the mailbox of both the sender and receiver, and still no luck. Any other ideas anyone???

Any word on when or if the mail system will be fixed?? I really don't want to spend any more cash on this game till I can at least mail items between characters.:(
Had this problem today. The issue isn't how many old emails you have. I don't think that matters. What seems to be the issue is how many unread emails/items in those unread emails. Try reading some unread emails, and if that doesn't fix it, open emails that have items in them, and either consolidate those items into new emails (if it's multiple instances of the same, stackable item, like, say, runes or enchantments), sell them, auction them, or discard them.
Or buy a bag and store them, which is I'm sure what PW would prefer you do... ^_^

With your case specifically, I'm thinking it's definitely too many items in your emails. What you should do is, a few at a time, open the emails and grab the products and re-auction them at a lower price. Sucks that we can't always get market value for good product, but that happens. And I wouldn't even bother auctioning them if they're not at least blue items. You're better off selling them for the silver/copper. Sure there are exceptions, but I've never had any luck auctioning greens or whites...
