Has anyone seen these drop from last MC boss or dd chest(i'm assuming thats the only place where they CAN drop if it's possible) ?

Yes i've read the description about them only being available from craft,no i don't believe cryptic descriptions and i've heard of people getting them from dd chest. So yay or nay?

The set off hand drops and can be in the chest, but only the non set MH can drop or be in the chest, whereas you're supposed to get the 3 materials and craft the set MH. If you've seen or heard of people getting the MH set in the chest it could be a temporary bug, but I have not heard of that myself.

off hand drops in 2nd boss, pieces to craft main hand are dropped by 2nd boss as well and probably last boss on a small %, i do not have the exact amount of resources that you need to craft it, but you probably need 2 o each of the parts in order to try, and also need to have enough tool assets puple/blue to reach rank 2 if you do not want to lose your items. after crafting i think the weapon it is also BoP so basically you will be leveling weaponsmith for everyclass to lv 20 just to forge one weapon.
Everything works out in the end . If it hasn't worked out yet, it isn't the end...

Bump, off hands can drop from first boss too.

Again,i don't care about the crafting side of it i already know everything that needs to be done to get them that way and im not interested untill someone can confirm you can never get them or slightly weaker versions of them in the dungeon.

I have dropped the non-set main hand from a DD chest, and seen the off-hand dropping from all 3 bosses (one per dungeon though atm).

The 'rewards' page says it's a craft only item. Yep, BiS gear is now in the cash shop!

I still don't believe they would be stupid enough to think forcing people to go through so much bs just to get a slighty better version of cn weapons would be a good idea.Even if they do,theres no guarantee that the drop table isn't bugged so..yea

Let's put it this way. They have items that you need to craft the weapons that drop in malabog. What would be the point of the new professions if it was a drop?

And what's the point of adding 2 new professions in order to craft a stupid weapon ? None.
Professions are something not every players enjoy. It's boring and annoying to level.

They should have pleased people who like professions and people who don't, by allowing the weapon to be crafted, but also by adding the said weapon (with set bonus) in the ifnal boss table. That would have been the best way.

    Yup.

Instead of copy pasting the set bonus and all the stats from CN weapons while making the MC set barely better but 50 times harder to get,why not have some slight creativity and make it kinda like any t2 armor set-it's a 4 piece set with 5 different set pieces,2 of which fill the same slot and one of them is only available through max level crafting.

Same could be done with the MC set- both main and off hand can drop in the dungeon, off hand from the first two bosses and main hand would be exclusive to final boss and dd chest if you get lucky, while adding a sepparate *legendary* or whatever main hand as a third piece of the set from professions.I mean hell you can even name the crafted one *Legendary Fomorian w.e* and give it a different look, better stats maybe a title coming with it that shows you've actually put in the time, effort and money to get the rarest piece of equipment in the game.As for the normal main-hand the drop rate on anything purple in MC is so low you wont find a lot of people runing around with full sets anytime soon unless they get extremely lucky. And i see no problem with that.

But why would someone level up a profession when they could just get the drop? Professions are meant to be rewarding. The sets are only slightly better than the CN set anyway. You already have a profession to craft some 'stupid' shirt and pants that are split into 4 different professions. Tbh I'm not sure why anyone would bother. I'd much rather buy the items on the AH than to tool up and make them myself. Maybe they could drop a lesser form of the weapon (with the bonus) which could be upgraded via crafting. Still hopefully with the new sets, ancient weapons will fall in price making them more attractive.
