Reward for Queuing for Dungeon

I'd love to see a reward for queuing for a dungeon/skirmish. At the moment there isn't one. Sometimes I can go hours waiting for a group. Often I see people forming a group in chat, but they almost always are looking for a particular class, having formed some of the group.

Now I recognize I could just as easily form the group myself. But the queue system is already in place, and I don't relish the idea of sitting still, shouting in chat for 20 minutes (and having to tell people "sorry, we already got 3 TRs"). I suggest an AD reward when you queue for a dungeon (maybe 1000 AD, up to 3000 AD for more difficult dungeons).

I apologize if this is the inappropriate forum.

I am sure this would get exploited to hell. (Okay no real change there.)

Allowing us to do other things (instances, etc) and having out progress saved woudl be even better.

This kind of reminds me of WoW when que for dungeons were slow cause no tanks would que. This might be the case with you. I have a GF and get instant ques all the time. If I don't get an instant que, it is because no one else is looking. How Blizzard addressed the problem was to give the tanks "special" rewards for joining the que.

This is nice idea but there is also another problem of not finishing the dungeon.

    1. Give reward for queuing for dungeon and completing it, much like the "daily".
    2. Give those class i.e. tanks extra bonus for queuing up.

As spanky said, you'd definitely have to withhold a reward for using the queue system until the dungeon/skirmish is completed, but it would be nice to be able to actually get in a skirmish when the applicable level range is only about 3-4 levels.

The hardest to find a group for me with the queue system is when i try for CN : most of the time, half the group refuse and i have to start over and wait...until i'm bored and i do something else.
Otherwise, it usually takes 5 to 20mins, depending on the toon i play (the longuest is on my TR).

To be honest, the queue system needs to be fixed first. Most of the time when i queue for a Tier instance and i finally do get in, we end up in the instance with e.g. only 3 people, the other 2 that were supposed to be there never entered. This afternoon i queued for Malabog, got in, and there was noone in party, there were however 3 people standing there that also weren't in a party. We grouped up and 4manned the first boss (and almost almost the second one), but it's not supposed to be this way.
Once they actually fix the queue-system, giving people an incentive to use it would be a nice thought. Until they do though, it's just not a good way to get a group.

The best reward for queuing will be droping out to the trash the actual queue system and reimplement a more inteligent and working one. Bored of waiting to enter a dungeon with a full party already made.

Tanks are not needed at all in this game. So why system sould reward class, that don't needed? Most valuable classes are CW and DC, without them you won't be able to finish dungeon in 99%.

In the other game that implemented a reward system for quing, it only rewarded the classes that were needed. Mainly the tank always had a reward and a priest/healer sometimes had one. NEVER once did a reward show up for dps.. NEVER. It's the lame thing about playing a dps class in the game. Want a fast q, make a tank or cleric. Want to wait endlessly, enjoy your dps class :p

The other day I qued for cn to unlock the chest.. Somehow they allowed two separate groups in that had 2 people in each group. The que system really needs to be fixed to a working state for once.

Now I obviously can't speak for everybody, but having gotten 1 of each class to 60, I can say that my GF is the least fun class for me to play. Perhaps they should look into making the GF more rewarding/fun to play, in order to reduce the dearth of GFs that are around.

    For instance:

    - They lack a dodge ability, and block has only a 180 degree field of affect. Maybe just make it so blocking protects you from all angles, or improve your ability to turn while blocking.

    - Again, with no dodge, moving from group to group can be tedious. Perhaps some sort of inherent run speed bonus when not blocking could be implemented.

    - At-will attacks just feel like they lack oomph. Shield bash is nice, but I often find I need to replace it with that dash attack just to keep up with the various groups.

    - Reevaluate the marking mechanic so as to force enemies to attack the tank. Having to use powers like enforced threat, just to tag all the enemies, and having to spam it, limits flexibility in builds.
