Sorry if this have been posted before. It was suggested in our guild chat by a tech wiz.
I gave up playing as I would crash every 10 min. After following this I haven't crashed (finger crossed)

When you start the launcher, click on Options and check "Disable on-demand patching".
Log in and you will start downloading about 2GB

Good luck

That doesnt work. I have been running with Disable on demand patching almost since the game started and still crash regularly in Protectors Enclave, but luckily no other zones until now. And for the most part I was able to stay out of Protectors Enclave. But how super of Cryptic to create a new zone to play in and manage to create the exact same crash issue as in PE. Pretty much makes the zone unplayable.

Nothing wrong with my PC, other games and application are working fine, only NV crashes, NO i will not reconfigure my PC, ill leave it as it is. Crash is not the only thing broken in this game so why bother fixing it, LOL.

I have been playing since open beta started, and until last patch I have had a total of *two* crashes. Yesterday I had five, There is a serious stability issue with the latest patch.
    Hoping for improvements...

There is indeed. They are working on it though and there's already preview patch notes. Not sure if that patch went live yet though. (Live on the Preview)

Another thing you should all try is changing your graphic card setting. Try switching to DX11 or DX9Ex rather than just DX9. It has proven to improve stability for some users.

Be sure to check your video drivers as well. I was guilty of this. Been a couple months since I updated mine.

I know its the patch that started the crashing. Before the patch I had virtually no crashes. After I was crashing 5-10 times a day. But I have yet to crash since updating my drivers last night.

    Indeed runebane!

I would also like to stress that although changing my DX Version has greatly improved my stability I do still crash every once in a while but it tends to be hours instead of minutes and that I can live with until they fix the issue.

I have encountered less crashes when I changed my directx settings to DXv11. Try to play around these setting to see which directX version is suitable for your system. :)

For those (like me) who have tried everything else, swapping DirectX, updating and/or roll back of drivers, testing memory, testing hd, windows repair and so on. This might be the solution to your problems.

Edit: Game just crashed after "disable on-demand patching"
Testing Direct3D 9ex. Will update if crashes again.

    Thanks maisaan !!
    I disabled on-demand patching. Next, launcher auto-downloaded a little less than 2GB.
Game runs stable now. No crash yet. Will update if game crashes again.
I am running in default dx9 mode. Will try other directx settings if crash occurs.
