Good morning fellow clerics. I had a couple questions I was hoping I could get the answers to that I havent been able to find out. These are pretty **** questions, and I have been playing for a couple weeks and its kind of embarrassing but Id rather get them answered, so any help is appreciated.
1. How do you res someone. I have died and been ressed before, and at a pretty low level so I do not think its a spell, but I would like to be able to do the same for my fellow dungeon adventurers, but just cant figure it out.
2. How do I talk in party, or any of the zone chats? I have people thank me for doing drive by healing words in zones and can never respond, nor have I been able to communicate in party.
3. How do I acquire those T*** (cant remember the name) bar currency or the glory currency.
Well thats about all I have for now. I am enjoying the low level game so far beyond the fact that I am an aggro magnet machine and am in constant trouble, but that is for another time. I probably need to stop overhealing. I drop seal, and divine forge on all boss mobs and sunburst as its up just to try to keep everyone full. I probably should wait until needed.
Thanks
1. You'll know when you can res someone; when they die, there's a green cloud over them, and if you walk over to them (you have to be standing almost on top of them to get in range), it'll give you a small box prompting you to "press F to revive your ally." Any class can do it -- it's not a spell. You just have to be careful that you don't die from enemy damage while trying to save someone else.
2. Press Enter and that brings up the chat dialogue. You can then type /zone to switch into Zonechat (default is /say which is only visible to people in your instance of a map, while Zone works across all instances of a given area). To switch to the party channel (visible only to people in your party), type /party instead. Be careful typing if you're in combat; the game does not pause while in chat and you will take damage if attacked.
3. You mean Tarmalune trade bars. You get those from the old Nightmare Lockboxes that aren't dropping anymore, but I assume they also come in the new Feywild Lockboxes (haven't looked at those yet but it only makes sense for them to carry trade bars). You have to have an Enchanted Key to open a lockbox, and those cost 125 Zen = $1.25 USD = a variable amount of Astral Diamonds depending on the exchange rate in the game. You will be able to earn Astral Diamonds without paying real money, so if you're broke like me you can theoretically save up enough of them to get Zen without paying money.
Glory is gotten by doing PvP matches. I don't play the PvP part of the game so I can't tell you any more than that.
The trouble with being a cleric is that enemies think you are a delicious delicacy and will aggro on you given a choice, over anything else in the area. It gets better as you gain levels, but it's tough at first. My cleric is level 59 now, and I got through the Tower District by following other people around and healing them in exchange for protection. As you get better, you'll be able to rely on others less for storyline questing. I'm pretty sure Sunburst especially generates a lot of aggro, so it might be better to hold off on using it in mobs until you need to.

Thanks for all the help it makes things much clearer. I guess i would probably not ae heal so much if I could target my allies in a room full of creatures and wasnt running for my life. I guess I will get better at it over time though.
