Why do we still get EXP?

So, just a que for a Dev (Heh, I hope someone replies someday), why do we still get EXP for level 60 quests? Can't you guys change it to gold, or better yet, AD? EXP at this point is meaningless, and 4k a pop is a lot of potential gold/ad to waste on EXP.

Anyways, yeah, this is honestly for Devs since it's for level 60 quests. I understand pre-60 quests, too much hassle to change, but how about 60 quests, especially into feylord.

Thanks!

yeah besides lvling companions is worthless... they could make it as the new chests.. in this case instead of choosin 1 of 3 seals... u could choose 1 of 3 options.

EXP or Gold or Rough AD

The primary reason is to enable players to level up their companions, I am sure that if there were no experience reward, this thread would be "Why don't we get experience anymore? I can't level my companion!!"..

Indeed. And now it's possible to upgrade the level 10s, that XP is more important than ever at this early stage.

You still need experience to level up companions.

And of course in the way distant future they will also expand the level cap. :p

I get the companions only getting exp, but that's A LOT of wasted resources for the other people. I don't have a companion that I'll buy, and even if I did, I would run them through instances and whatever to level them.

I really really like the ID about having the option of EXP / GOLD / ROUGH AD, I think that's wonderful.

I doubt very much that if they will expand the lvl cap the xp that you get now will count for something.
About lvling the companions, they could get their own xp independently from the xp of their owner

Personally, I think it's greedy. But, then, I've never understood (across many forums and many games) people's problems with level caps and/or the upset about "wasting" XP because their character is at the cap. So maybe I'm the wrong person to ask. :p

I think the whole thing around this (and I've thought of it) was what they did in WoW for things like this. They, in instances where XP was received when the player was level capped, would turn the unneeded XP into gold.

I think it would be cool if you could ...not get exp for invoking
because I feel it levels me past content to fast... but I don't expect to get ad or gold for it.

Heck why bother with EXP at all lets just start everyone at level 60.
most people just speed to the end anyhow.

The concept people seem to have that if they can avoid getting something they don't want
that they will get something they want magically boggles me.

    Child: I don't want broccoli
Mother: Oh ok here is some ice cream instead....not

remember some people might accually want broccoli erm exp for their pets.
also this is one reason so many games are like wow these days.
because people liked the features wow had ad seem to feel cheated if a mmo is different.
I remember a time where endgame consisted of rolling up a new character.

You're right, the xp you get now probably wont count towards future changes, but why should they take out XP now and gimp new players later when the level cap raises.
