    Ya, I personally liked that they warned us before taking the servers down

    I was near the boss of my epic SpellPlague and the server just went down at 10pm without warning.

    I logged out and saw that server was down and there was a announcement about shard maintenance at 10-11pm pacific. Shouldn't there be an announcement beforehand and not just shut down?

    Eh, they announced it on twitter 30 minutes ago. Had logged off to grab something to eat, so no idea if they mentioned it in game. Or why they wouldn't have if they didn't.

    bear with it dude, the dev are panic and. This is how they will handle all their issue from now on :) cheers , if u don't like them then just stop play all the game from PWE, else then hug them and give them a warm kiss.

    There was no warning in game on Dragon. I just got DC'd and then couldn't reconnect.

    Exiting and loading the launcher shows an announcement for shard maintenance from 10-11 PM PST.

    Please continue this discussion in the Evening Maintenance Thread.

    And there was indeed a warning.
    I saw it quite clearly flash across my screen at 20 Minutes, 5 minutes and One minute. At that point I logged off but there is normally another message which states the servers are going down imminently. :)

    More than likely you tuned it out because it's the same color, font and location as the Nightmare Lockbox and Zone Change Announcements. ;)

    There was an announcement. I read it myself.

    It gave a 20 minute warning, which was still pretty short notice.

    they announced in game with a 15 minute buffer

    They nerfed annoucements.
