Hey, I'm here to do the usual for questions/unsolicited advice that will be viewed as irritating and most likely ignored. First, though, thanks for making such an awesome game. Considering that you've made it free to play, you've done a great job. But your need for funding is showing, badly. Not in the game itself, though there are a few bugs, but in your incessant expansion of paid services and little else. Specifically, the lockboxes, nightmare and otherwise. They're good, and I enjoy the chance to spin the wheel of fortune, no matter the outcome. But that the only way to open them is to pay with real cash is decidedly unwise. It makes them next to worthless, and people will simply sell them immediately. And it, despite being so small a thing, is still a fun part of the game. Everyone enjoys relying on luck and chance. It's why gamblers will blow their fortunes, or lack thereof, so easily in places like Vegas. But with video games, you get the whole "gamer rage" problem. So that real money is needed for a virtual chance is doing nothing but losing you the on-the-fence fans and gaining you those irritating, and sometimes dangerous, internet denizens with a habit of starting hate wars against things they don't like. After all, they have little else to do with their lives. I don't doubt that you will keep the zen price for the keys the same. It's already relatively low compared to everything else on the market. But if you could make some sort of in-game way to get keys, it would open the floodgates to people who left after making the lockbox issue their main complaint. It would also help take some of the wind out of the sails of those who would claim that your game is nothing more than a crude money-grubbing machine. Which, admittedly, all games are, just with varying levels of subtlety. If you were to add an in game option, things would get better. Personally, I recommend finding an exorbitant use for the gold pieces players have a habit of accumulating later on. Make it something ridiculously expensive, like 10 gold pieces, or maybe even 15 or 20, and it'd give people incentive to gather gold as well. Making a currency, well, a currency. What have you to lose? Besides a miniscule amount of profits that will be a worthwhile price in the end. Call it a hunch, but I think the shortcut Zen way will remain fairly popular.

You do know that you can earn Zen using nothing but in-game means, right? Heck, they even provide multiple ways of doing so, (plus another coming with the salvage vendor w/ the Feywild module).

Just off the top of my head:

    1. Invoking
    2. Selling stuff on the AH
    3. Leadership tasks
    4. Skirmish events
    5. Daily dungeon, foundry, and PvP events from Rhix.
    6. You can create foundry quests, and if people like it, they can tip you ADs.

I'm sure there are other ways that I didn't list...

Up near the top of your screen, on the bar, there is an icon that looks like "Z diamond". Click on this. Convert your AD to zen.

    Problem solved.
