Items BoE on Companions

Briefly went through the changelogs but couldn't find anything:

Items now are bound to your character when equipped to a companion. Is that intended?

    It isn't bug.

    They are still tradable unless you give them back to your pet. It's pretty logic but it doesn't actually work in this way on live servers as this is the case on Preview shard only.

    It is in preview server patch notes.
    Equipping Bind on Equip items to a Companion now properly binds the item. A confirmation dialog has been added to prevent accidental binds.

    Anything NW.5 was part of the Feywild patches, whether it was a.X or b.X.
