New weapons... Better, worse, or pretty much the same?

Has anyone seen the end content weapons for feywild? How do they compare to CN ancients? I may have missed a previous thread but as of yet I have been unable to find something.

    Log on to Mimic - open the zone and check the 'Campaign' all the rewards are listed - with both stats and where they drop etc.

    they have a set bonus (unknow atm), slightly better damage, in most cases same stat selecton as CN weps

    The new 'Fabled ' armor set for the Control Wizard has ever so slightly better stats than the HV set but the effect is completely HAMSTER poor and totally random , I'm guessing whoever thinks these armor set effects up recently is on some kind of strong medication maybe? , dunno about Fabled set , maybe replace the B with an I and its closer to the truth ...
    Here's the orbs first the Malabog castle one - failedorb_zps4f13f73e.jpg

    Now the one you can make using a weaponsmith ( which actually seems better than the castle dropped one ) - weaponsmithfailedorb_zps37876d31.jpg

    And the CW robes to show the lame *** 4 piece effect - fabledrobes_zpsc01e9800.jpg

    I don't know if the new set is so lousy, a good shield pusle in a big pack of mobs could be deadly. Looks like a lightning enchantment with an ICD to me. Nothing amazing but nothing terrible either.

    The weapons have the same damage as CN gear, slightly better statq but no set bonus, so it's not worth the effort if you have a CN set. I guess we'll have to wait for CN 2.0 to see something better.

    It's incredibly lousy. Note it says "A nearby foe".
    50% more damage versus a single target in a pack of 10-20? Pathetic increase. If it said "to all nearby foes" - sure, that might be something. As is : No it's terrible.

    So yea everything i've seen so far is garbage. The weps/offhands, the DC, GF and CW sets. Haven't seen the TR or GWF ones, but I bet they are just as bad.
    -Group tools in dire need of improvement, please read and reply to improve our community.
    -Epic Dread Vault Crushed.
    Characters (Dragon): Axer (60 Guardian, Leader of Crush It!), Controller (60 Wizard), Warlocker (60 Warlock)

    Ah yes, i misread, sorry, i read "nearby foes". I may be used to good sets. Indeed this one sucks hard if it hits one target every 20s.

    You're wrong about the DC set though. This set trades extra recovery for armor pen. It should give 2k recovery - all we will ever need for a DC, and the extra armor pen will conveniently buff the team via linked spirit. It's a good alternative to MH. Probably not better but it's still T2, so i'm ok with that. But AFAIK, this is the only class getting an interesting upgrade gear-wise. All the jewelry is garbage too, i know.

    I'm still waiting to see which unique items mini bosses drops in the Castle. I'm not sure everything is in the rewards list.

    actually just the 4 set armor for DC alone gives you only 606 arp...if you decide to go with the weapon and offhand you gain an extra 207 arp....the rings neck and belt are horrid.

    i dont think the total 813 arp from all those 6 pieces, loss of power {ancient 2 set wep bonus close to 500 power in total} loss of recov which yes i agree is wasted points at end game gear score to US.......however if we are trying to defend the arp gain being great for linked spirit to benefit our party members....same could be said as far as ammount of recovery we could have been giving our party members as well.

    for me personally i'll stick with my miracle healers set ....now..for my other cleric..which is more dps pve/pvp focused then yes this is pretty much a great armor set to work towards....

    but as far as my main cleric...i dont feel like this is a MUST HAVE to clear the new content {malabog castle}
    btw miracle healer 4 set is proccing off of astral shield ticks currently ;-}

    for TR the set bonus is the same as ancient +critical strike. I would have thought it would be a different stat to make it differ from Ancient more. Also it looks like one piece has to be crafted but is bind on pickup.

    yes a slight upgrade...class wide...DEF not a MUST HAVE however to clear malabog.....also 1 important thing to note...main hand is BOP and only craftable through weaponsmithing...so we have to level a brand new profression to make it for ourselves....another cashgrab.
