So i finally got all 4 peices of the miracle healer set and i was playing with my stats, and heres where im at
does this stat distribution seem optimal for healing:
Power 4850
Crit 2460
Recovery 3010
Defense 200
Regen 700
GS is only 10.5 with the miracle healer set, i had it just up to 11k with 2 peice set bonuses, but im looking forward to the extra healing from the 4 set bonus encounter power healing
oh yea, does that set bonus heal me too, or just my allies?
Does Astral Shield Proc the bonus healing?
How close do you have to be from the encounter power to get the healing?
Numbers wise how much healing is it per encounter assuming decent health?
I'm crossing my fingers that they actually intended for each tick of healing from Divine AS to proc. I've tried it on preview shard, and yes, it's huge.
The part of the patch where they mention making the AS heal perform as an Encounter makes me think that they might have intended something like this as a sort of back-door buff to the otherwise somewhat-disadvantaged class, but we'll see.
Obviously completely unintended. Just think about the PvP implications alone - Cleric's heals stacking with themselves! It would be like double Astral Shield all over again except you don't even need another Cleric...
I wouldn't be surprised in the least if they used it as an excuse to remove the MH bonus. They may "rework" the bonus in the same way as Stalwarts set instead of fixing the new feature.
I agree that it's probably not intended (since when do they want DCs to be powerful), but at the same time I don't understand how they didn't realize this would happen. They even referenced working on the set's proc in patch notes. Very odd.
As for PvP implications, I'd actually be fine with it considering all the other nonsense that goes on already, but the matches would take too long :P

It's almost as if every time they nerf us, they break something else intentionally just to keep us from quitting.
I think its intended, cuz heals from AS will be considered as encounters, but maybe I just read wrong.
And is not that OP, cuz:
1: In solo pve content AS is not that necessary.
2: In dungeons u will share ur MH with mates.
3: In pvp ur enemies just need to be a bit smart ( which for our luck, in most cases, they r not ) and knock u out of AS.
