what is next patch - bound on equip?

do i understand correctly that all dd chest will be bound by equip ... so what exactly can i sell in ah? is cryptic again trying to take all our ad and make us spend real money on zen? because if that the case no one will play this game.
hope im wronge.

    I've wanted to know more about this myself. With both unsellable PvP gear and binded items from dungeon chests, the only real way to get an unbinded purple item would be the final boss drop, and it'll be a 1/5 chance because in order to win the loot roll, it'll need to be for your class.

    Must be reading it wrong, or there are new systems in place to compensate.

    New Feature: Salvage!
    •Salvaging has once again been implemented for testing on NeverwinterPreview, with a few changes.
    •Most of the information can be found here!
    •There is once again a Salvage Trader and station in the western corner of the Seven Suns Coster Market in Protector's Enclave. Purple quality gear may be salvaged for Rough Astral Diamonds.
    •Gear rewarded from the special chest that unlocks after the Dungeon Delves event is now Bind on Pickup – But now the player can chose one of the three available stat allocations for that gear slot!

    Gear from the DD chest will be bind on pickup but you will get a choice of items instead of just having one allocated to you randomly , as for compensation you can use the savager to swap unwanted purple gear for AD's , only gear that isn't bind on pickup is from the boss drops but as the guy above said you can only need that if it is for your particular class.

    This is the patch we should be getting on Thursday , there will probably be a few changes and there's no guarantee that the Midsummer festival will be added this week but other than that this should be what is added for the most part - http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?440261-Patch-Notes-NW-5-20130730a-2

    You'll be able to salvage them for more than they currently sell in AH. You do get rough diamonds but spread it across a few characters if you have a lot to salvage and it's not a big issue. (edit: that's not much use for bound items of course).

    You get boe purples from the other bosses too, unless you're only running cloak tower.
