    You can try it out on the preview shard. It's a set rate based on the tier of the gear. Drake stuff salvages for 8k ROUGH AD. Very important to know it's rough. There's people planning to make millions who won't get the money for a month.

    been trying to get on the preview shard, it patches and stops about 2/3 the way through and just hangs, so I haven't had the patience to do it.

    Fools' Crown of Neverwinter, can it be salvaged?
    I have five bound fools crowns in the bank. Keep them or discard?

    8K rough AD for drake gear? That's good if true.

    I was selling Drake Seal gear for 10k-15k AD (not rough). It's decent, but nothing to celebrate.

    Of course. Keep in mind their entire business model is to push people toward purchasing Zen (to exchange AD or buy from the the Zen Store). This is why they're making Epics in DDs BoP. You can no longer sell the items on the AH for AD (which was the most efficient way to get AD).

    This, of course, is just another reason why I will never drop cash on this game. Shady, shady business model.

    I don't know if I'd call it shady, as they are up front in everything they are doing, you just have to be smart enough to not HAVE to spend money, they are just relying on people's impatience, and it seems to work.

    I'm beginning to seriously doubt weather i'll continue playing this game. I don't mind putting a few bucks into a game just as if I'd bought it from a store. But i'm not going to keep pumping cash into it and the more i'm railroaded in that direction, the less likely i'm going to stick around.

    finally got on the preview shard, some examples (my preview char is a CW)

    Focal Magi's Talisman - 4000
    Burning Shard of Elemental Fire - 10000
    Archmage's Gloves - 4000
    Archmage's Tunic - 5000
    Archmage's Cap - 4000
    Amulet of Fire - 6000

    so after a month or so i can stop playing and spend the next 6 mnths refining AD..this just gets better.
