Will some of the items we have become inferior with the new patch?

Say I was saving for a 200K item, and I bought it the day before the patch. Then the patch is on, and there is an even more powerful item that's not as expensive. Is this possible?

new items tend to go for a premium when they 1st appear. so it's unlikely you will be able to buy it for a cheaper price

You can check for yourself on the test server - all you need to do is unlock the zone & you can look at all the gear available from the 'campaign' tab.

But over all most items are sub-T2, with the exception of Castle Malabog loot which is sub-CN, the module is just a different route for some to earn gear rather than a new bleeding edge 'end-game' area.

Do you think an Ancient Slavemaster's Control Ring is a smart buy at this time? :)

I think more people will be running CN instead of DD after patch, so the price on ancient stuff will drop (after a while, people need to do their Feywild stuff first). Or, the game will die in what I like to refer to as 'the suicide patch'.

Oh dear. I'm thinking of just buying the Minor Grand ones instead, since the difference is only 36GS, right?
