The Return of the Original Tester's Guild!

It's been a little while since the Knights were on a test server, but that is where we hail from. It is perhaps one of our worst kept secrets, but back in the early days of the alpha test, when guilds were finally enabled, I launched the first 2 guilds (and for a long time only guilds) on the server. The names were voted on by the community, and the Neverwinter Knights, was actually second on the list. We had 2 test shards at that time, and so it was the name given to the guild on the 2nd shard.

As time went forward, the other shard was taken offline and was retooled for later use. But even before that the Neverwinter Knights proved to be the more popular guild. As time went forward, I was asked if I would take the guild live. However in time I was being bombarded, and it got me thinking that if that is what the people want, perhaps I should rethink.

And so NK went to closed beta as a tester and the requests for it to go live exploded. The closed beta guild was even larger than the alpha guild (and this is not counting alts), however I still didn't think that the live guild would be as big as it is now. As of today, not counting our Guild Allies we have 135 guild members and we are growing almost daily.

So now with the advent of the Mimic test shard, which those of us in Alpha knew very well, we would be setting up once again. I look forward to bringing the same level of testing excellence back to the game that we once did as a guild and can't wait to do it with as many of you as want to be involved.

Who we are on Mindflayer

The Neverwinter Knights are a group of dedicated gamers assembled within the Neverwinter MMO. NwK can best be described as a 'Casual Roleplay' guild, which will not require roleplay, but will also not discourage it from happening. Many of our members actively take part in the roleplaying scene and plan on using the foundry as a tool to encourage as much roleplay as possible.


What we do on Mimic


While for many of us our primary focus is testing PvE content, many of us also enjoy PvP. It is our intention to coordinate our efforts to ensure thorough testing of the game, and have a bit of fun along the way using every last resource to discover even the most remote bit of content available to us in the game.

Please Note: Membership to the Test guild, does not guarantee automatic entry to the Live guild on the Mindflayer server, an actual application would still have to be made on our guild forum. Additionally you can be a member of the test guild and never be a member of the live one if you wish, they are in many ways, two separate entities run by the same people with completely different goals etc.
