What is your favourite setting?

Do you prefer desert, dungeons, sewers, arctic, swamps, jungles? something else. what is you favourite play setting and maybe why?

Me I love ruins, jungles and swamps. There is something about swamps I just love (game wise), as I feel there is so much you can do with the setting yet it seems underplayed a lot of the time.

    The thing with me is... I love seeing ALL the different environments! I really love to explore the custom environments that show off a lot of imagination.

    I have been trying to do a different environment in each foundry, so no real favorite I reckon.

    That would seem like making the same quest again with different dialogue, yes?

    heh i didnt mean your fav to make really, as purple said i also enjoy all the unique environments but my fav is still the swamp. not that all of my quests would be in a swamp.

    It's just in books, movies, games you name it when i see or read about a marsh in a fantasy setting it stirs my imagination and piques my interest more then other settings. I was just curious which setting holds a special interest for others out there.
    what was the one setting that you enjoyed the most? :D

    i would have added graveyard, sewers, dungeons but you can only have 10 poll options so i chose to keep it generic.

    I picked a few environments, but my favourite is undisputed - Urban. So many nooks and crannies and unknown mysteries behind all the many doors. To find the unexpected in a normal, everyday life setting is more interesting to me than environments where one might expect the abnormal. And for that same reason, extraplanar is my least favourite.

    I also like a good ramble through forest/woodland; swamps too, though they tend to have a different vibe altogether and I wouldn't put them in the same category.

    I prefer nature settings of any kind. Especially dense, deep and layered ones that are more than one tree copy/ pasted over and over ;)

    I would have to say that I like the ruins. Finding very old places and exploring them to try and figure out what it used to really be. I prefer mountain type settings for this, but jungle/forest and swamp work just as well.

    I prefer urban, cause I've always been a big fan of epic parkour chases through the streets. :D

    I like snowy settings and haunted houses/graveyards the best. I'm working on a foundry to go back to Neverdeath since it is one of my favorite zones.

    Also, there was only one Icewind Dale foundry when I searched not too long ago. That surprised me.

    Extraplanar, because I'm a huge Planescape fan. Although urban is a close second.
    Assassination Contract NW-DOD6JMS5H - story + combat. Trading reviews.
    I'm improving my quest on an almost daily basis - so if you come back to it after a week or so, it won't be quite the same!
