Hello all!
Much like the title suggests i have recently finished my very first foundry! What was meant to include everything i had planned has now turned into something that will more than likely become a campaign!
Originally designed as a solo Foundry, it allows the hero a chance in getting involved into the story set before them. That said, there is nothing wrong with running it with a friend or as a group!
You find yourself in Tellorack City, all appears calm but that is very often not the case! Someone is uneasy. Locate them and get drawn into an adventure filled with twists, turns, shocks and ofcourse, enough evil to start an apocalypse!
Tellorack - What is now, part one of the Zycor Campaign
NW-DJAFTC6EP or
@shadownighthawk1 either should help you locate the Quest
Combat heavy mission
solo - It
is solo-able, but given feedback, it
is tough, if heavy combat is your thing, jump right in but be warned there are challenging fights so you will have to be on your guard
duo - Things become a easier, should you and a friend wish to play it will even out nicely as to not be too challenging but at the same time not a faceroll.
group - Easy, you shouldn't struggle with the mobs set before you
Average time solo takes roughly 30 minutes, obviously with more of you running it that time will decrease
Ive attached a couple of screenshots from one of the first areas you will find yourself in which is the
Tellorack Graveyard. To any that decide to run it, your comments are very welcomed and encouraged so that i may make it better! and of course, i shall do my best to return the favour by running and reviewing those who wish theres reviewed too. I hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoyed making it!

I'm going to go play and review yours now.
I'm improving my quest on an almost daily basis - so if you come back to it after a week or so, it won't be quite the same!
Will be winging my way to test yours in the next 10 minutes.
Exceptionally enjoyable foundry! youve clearly spent ALOT of time on this and it was a real joy to play! the dialog is all fantastically done and the fact it gives such variety makes this foundry very replayable! reviewed and tipped and it was completely worth it!
Liked the combat, but might be a bit hard for some. One issue with it is the annoying wights who spam zombies - they might make it a bit difficult for clerics - maybe change those mobs.
Some minor text errors I noticed, mainly capitalization and punctuation.
Overall, I had fun, but I think I lost a couple years of life, my heart was palpitating.

Glad you enjoyed it and it kept you on your toes! (all be it shifting toes! haha)
Ive taken what youve said into consideration and given your not the first to say that they may just be a little tough, i will see about tweaking them and sorting out those text errors
Again, thanks for trying it out! looking forward to the continuation of yours
You know, my suggestion would be to add an easy(er) mode, maybe via dialogue prompt, maybe at beginning of maps, despawning or changing some encounters to something easier if player selects that prompt. That way you please the guys who want an easier experience too. Of course, it's entirely up to you. Just remember no matter what you do you'll not please everybody. I get constantly told that my quest is either too hard or too easy hehehe.

Thankyou for taking the time to try it out Adylhere It would appear that its rapidly falling into the 'Not for the feint hearted' Catagory, though this is good for those looking for a challenge, those looking for a casual ride through a foundry may be put off by this. I feel i shall be going with aaldaemon's suggestion in adding in a difficulty slider, keeping this for those that wish to test themselves (as it is do-able) but adding in an easier run through for those who deem it too difficult to try
Ahem... about the errr "Press F to go to the next map" at the end.... would you believe me iff i said someone stole my transition door??... no?? ok, ill get about fixing that asap :P and thankyou again. Will do my best to run through and review yours very soon
You have a good knack for the combat - but that being said a lot of people may find this overwhelming as a solo. My GF did ok, but I did suck a lot of potions.
Would have liked more detail in the raw cryptic map, but once away from the city it got better.
Great job and worth the run.
If you really want this to be a solo though you will need a difficulty slider. Too many people cannot handle stacked rough mobs.
If the above makes you think twice, grab a friend and go anyway. It really is a fun hack and slash.

Thankyou very much for the feedback harbingerdrum! just got in from work so will test what you found about the 'F for next map' thing, i was pretty sure id got the area transitions tied to doors etc! lol
Will begin incorporating a difficulty slider tonight as it seems to be a natural reaction from most! Surprisingly however, i made sure not to stack any mobs atall! all mobs i placed i tried to make far enough about so that you wouldn't run into the trouble of multiple stacks! that said, the graveyard seems to be the punishing area and those mobs were taken straight from the hard groups of encounters. tweaking is definitely required! lol.
I agree the city itself does need a bit more in it, i wasn't aware i reached my npc cap so quickly, i wanted alot more population in there! going to try to use mob spawns, reskin them and set them to non hostile, that way i should (not tested it yet) be able to get a further 500 actors in there if i chose to!
Again thankyou for the feedback and the positive comments you've left THe foundry is a learning curve and with your guys help it can only get better!
Locate one of the narrow alley sections and drop a house across it for a barrier, or even a few houses across a wider area.
Maintain a sense of what you want to do when you return the player to the city and it shouldn't be too hard to mark an X on the map.
Abra_Ka_Dabra, nothing in the sleeves.
Now the same number of NPC are in a much smaller area. The illusion of a crowd, rather than the numbers.
