Can't Evocation boost up Sudden Storm and SotEA?

Evocation can't seem to boost up Sudden Storm and Shard of the Endless Avalanche.

AFIK the following three powers are considered aoe powers. How about the above mentioned two?
  • Chill Strike (tabbed)
  • Repel (tabbed)
  • Shield

    Read over this guide mate:

    Short answer:

Evocation: Increases your AoE damage by 15% at rank 3, very useful during leveling phase or solo because of its consistency and does not rely on chill or arcane stacks, or procs. (However only works with Chill Strike mastery, Shield, Steal time.)

Thanks. But Sudden Storm and SotEA's effect are aoe, aren't they? It apparently is a bug that Evocation doesn't work on them.

If it all made sense then it wouldn't be Cryptic.

Cryptic seemed to fail with their keywords. In D&D this is simple. A spell has keywords, if it has the keyword, it gets the bonus. Cryptic, on the other hand, seems to only give spells a single keyword, or sometimes only processes one of them rather than all.

    Now that's Cryptic.

Should this be reported in the Bugs Reports?

Waste of time, you will never know when they will fix something or not, they miss out alot of things in their patch notes, and half the time they only half-fix it and bug something else up instead.
