Need to rework the time out of combat to get back on your mount

It needs to be longer like 5-7 seconds out of combat instead of the 2-3 it is now. This will help combat GWF's and CW's who abuse their mechanics to get on a horse to get a pot.

So, why don't you do it too?

The whole mechanic just seems buggy and often abused in general. There have been times when I hit someone and they mounted up a second later and I was still locked in combat for another few seconds after that.

Eh its not that big of a problem. Thats only a problem when someone tries too hard to just get a kill.

What I'd perfer is still being able to interact with things while in combat. Such as traps and whatnot.

i would much rather it so that you can do anything in combat. open doors/change map/disarm traps etc why can i not do these things in the first place

and irk, learn to pvp seriously. all these qq threads of youre about gwf etc >_>

GWF + dash + punishing charge + 110% mount immortal

TR + stealth + sneak attack = faster than normal mount

if you increase the mount time
others will be like training dummy waiting for their death once they ran out of dodge, and there will be no way to escape bec those 2 class can chase you and CW has super long range skills

Because this is such a problem now? Two primary options here. First, buy glory potions and use them - it will make you less floating potion dependent. Second, if you need that potion make sure to get there first. The former involves a rather minor investment of time. The latter involves an increase in skill which might be a more substantial investment for you.

But really, just no. This is the first time I've seen someone complain about this and it seems like a remarkably minor issue to me. How has this been significantly impacting your gameplay experience?

How is using sprint to run away from something 'abusing their mechanics'? Isn't running away almost all the GWF sprint is good for?

Thats just someone trying too hard to get a kill, instead of doing something more important.

Nah, it is fantastic for getting in the first few shots on people who aren't very good at PvP. Sprint over, Roar at them, knock them prone, and then hit them with Crescendo. It's amazing the number of players who basically stand there and watch you do this to them over and over!
