Go to Protector's Enclave. On the stairs leading up to General Knox, you'll see an event NPC. There are weapons in a box and stuck into the pole behind him.

TRs get the cleaver, GFs get the axe(there's also a shield that may drop), GWFs get the large maul, CWs get the floating skull, and DCs get the rod-like implement.

I can see an orc shield. Has anyone dropped it yet?

There are some screenshots of the savage orb in this thread:
    http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?439981-Savage-Skull-of-the-Many-Arrows-Weapon-Rendering-Issue

I would imagine you won't see to many of them transmuted onto other orbs until it gets fixed.

I have a question about transmuting these items: I'm currently level 16, if I transmute the axe I've gotten onto my current weapon, will I be able to use that transmuted weapon to change the look of a new weapon I get? I'm wondering if I just should hold onto it until I hit max level...

Once an item has been transmuted you can use it again to transmute another item. It's a crappy system but it ensures they keep making money every time you replace an item.

My axe has a little more battle look to it :p

I like the axe color. Is it the orc dye? Also, have you seen an orc shield drop?

The blood is from the Lifedrinker shard effect. It's cooler looking in battle at it would sometimes turn completely blood dripping red.
    This particular toon has been in 30 campaigns = 3 axes + 2 Orc Wolves + 25 Dyes.........NO Shields

Why they have not included that shield that is in the box near the guy in PE? That thing looks like a fragment of a barricade, but, it would be cool to have them in my GF.

Only have one weapon for now, sorry. For some idiotic reason, the axes are main hand only. Guess I'll have to transmute the other one, to trick the game into thinking it's a dagger. :p

If you are ultimately unable to skin the off-hand weapon with the Savage Axe, you can pick up a Mancleaver for a small amount of AD that will skin the off-hand, and looks like a hatchet very similar to the axe.

It's not quite the same, but it will look like a well matched pair of weapons.

Cryptic knows that Rogues don't go around wielding huge axes, right?

The TR "weapon" does not seem fit for a TR at all.

The TR build seems more like a thug than a burglar to me - so clubs, nightsticks, maces and axes dont seem out of place!
