Mount upgrade too expensive, please lower the price!

Mount upgrade prices are insance, 2 million ad! WHY? Even the most expensive epic mount is 1,23 million AD with current zen price 353 in Beholder shard.

EVEN with the max zen price, 500 its only 1,75 million AD.

Please lower the price like this:

Mount Training II 250k
Mount Training III 750k

It's 2.8 mil to get a pony up to full speed actually iirc.

And yea, no one in their right mind would ever buy it.

i think this makes sense if you change it to:

Remove mount upgrade tomes and provide tasks in the Leadership profession that let us train up mounts.

Its OK if they take 5 days and require a lot of inputs to start (maybe personal projects vis a vis Star Trek Online) - but the tomes were just a bad idea.

So why mess around w/ upgrading a single mount when you can buy an epic mount that all toons can access for less money?! Simple solution the way I see it..
W/ 1zen=350 ad you could purchase the epic 3500 zen mount for 1'225'000. It is no brainer choice :p

Actually i want to buy an orange tiger mount and upgrade it (i have already 2 epic mounts), BUT NOT FOR 2 million AD! How the hell did they came up with this idea? Why is this guy still working for Cryptic or PW? Why?

Why they let their game filling up with bad ideas, and dont even read GAMERS suggestion? Why? Why is there even a forum for this game?

The prices were probably implemented with what the devs thought the AD -> Zen exchange would be, not where it ended up at. That, or they made it expensive to make buying ones via the Zen store more attractive.

Should i repeat? You cant buy zen for more than 500! And with 500 its still 1,75 mil.

The bad thing is about this that there noone is talking about this matter, because noone cares when they can buy the cheapest epic mount for 880K in beholder. And they will get this to all chars in account.

Actually this function has ABSOLUTELY no use in game with these prices!

I agree. This makes me worry that upgrading existing companions will follow a similar, unreasonably expensive, pattern...

With companion the blue to epic will cost 750K ad, thatswhy i suggested to mounts too the 750k upgrade.

For companions there will be a lot players who will buy the upgrade, but for mounts noone will. (because mount upgrade is just a comfort upgrade, companion upgrade is usefull in dungeons)

The price would make sense if it upgraded all mounts on all characters...

But if it doesn't I agree it needs to be drastically reduced. There simply isn't enough ways Astral Diamonds are put into the game to justify such high AD Sinks.

That is the point of the prices, to encourage you to use the better/more convenient option of paying real money in the Zen Store to get stuff.

You're missing the point here. To much Zen hate or something. Because it works both ways.

If training was valuable and priced reasonable then some people with zen would buy AD to use it. It makes no sense for them to have a useless function that very, VERY, few people will ever use. When instead they could have a service that makes players happy and provides an AD sink at the same time.

IMO they need to either drastically reduce the price. Or add some other functionality to training instead.

Why? If you buy a zen mounts its still can be used on all characters, and its still cheaper than the mount upgrade.

For PW: It has to be lowered, with this setup its useless, noone will buy. Maybe you can catch 1-2 stupid people, but thats it, so wow you ripped off 2 pay to win player! Wow! Is it even considered to balance economy? With 2 people? Really? I think with 750k many people would buy it. But not for 2 million.

Its a fair offer what i said in first comment! With this horrible upgrade cost you can sell more Zen mounts yes, BUT ONLY the epic ones! IF you lower the price to 750k, then a lot people would buy the rare mounts too! Its a good benefit to you also! Why not grab the chance? I dont get it, what kind of business modell is this? Its killing itself!

Well if they went ahead and did what you are implying people would stop to buy mounts in the Zen shop to be able to be competitive in PvP. They need the money made by Zen sales in order to pay the Support Team ;)

Because I have various good looking mounts which are only T1 or T2 which I don't use because I have a T3 mount.

The price could be justified if it turned every mount you ever own into a T3 Mount. Not ideal but justifiable.

Frankly I think once I own a T3 all my mounts should be T3 and the prices for other mounts should be discounted to pay for the skin only...but in the case they refuse to do that I wouldn't mind making all of my mounts T3 via a purchase.

Yes that would be good. I would buy a lot more low tier mounts. Or at least they could make a T3 version of all mounts in zen store.

AD prices are being reduced per this thread: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?440211-Salvage-Dungeon-Event-Chests-and-AD-Updates!
    AD Price Adjustments
We are also lowering the AD cost of several services and items in the game! It isn’t in the Preview build yet but in general we’re looking to reduce the fees for Enchantment and Runestone unslotting, Feat Respecs, Item Transmutation, Wondrous Bazaar Companions, and Wondrous Bazaar level 60 Blue Gear by around 10% on average. Check out the patch notes when it hits for more details if you’re interested.

They didn't mention mounts. And even if they are included it would need to be a heck of a lot larger cut than 10%. That would still be over 2.5 million to upgrade a single mount from rank 2 to 3. I actually asked in the third page of that thread if mounts were included. But it kind of got lost.

There are some very nice looking rank2 mounts in the Zen store, which I would love to try.
I would love to buy them .... except that rank2 --> rank3 upgrade is currently crazy expensive.
Please do something to reduce the cost of mount upgrades.
There are so many beautiful rank2 mounts in the Zen store.
Shame that few people will actually use them, since mount upgrade price is so expensive.
